Thanks Rad for all of that Here is my thought process. Feel free to comment how ever you please.
Here is the problem with the whole spellbook. Just like you said. Its been used before. I was thinking of doing it kinda like the upgrade stonework ability for MOTW. Where its a global upgrade from the fortress. Deluxe Edition did this and i didn't want to copy that.
Rohan - In my opinion should of been a faction in BFMEII to start off with. Hence why i am bringing it back. Basically i took the long route doing this and completely recoded the entire faction. With its own specialized folder etc (Roh)
Dunedain - It was my original mod idea a while back but then joined FB2G which was probably the worst idea ever. I stand by this and i do want a complete faction. I have a vision for it and it is slowly taking shape.
Global Changes - "through the Ages" represents the fact that there are units from all the different Era's of middle-earth. Heck if i can get what i want done you will have a vast amount of new units, abilities, upgrades, heroes, etc.. to choose from. Sure mods add new heroes, units, and textures and stuff. But many mods follow some sort of time period (big example is TPW, total conversion) I don't know the lore to anything in LOTR. I would be corrected half the time if i did try and follow the lore. Sure it would be a learning experience but in all honesty i have only ever liked LOTR and BFME because of the action, incredible story line, and all the old fashion weapons used (bows, swords, MAGIC, and the list goes on). So, basically i don't want to be "confined" if that makes any sense.
I also want to make this FUN for me as well. If i followed lore whilst creating it in all honesty i would get bored due to the confinement.
