You know that Euro has Harriers and PF has Black Eagles right? BTW, take a look on what was done on attack jets. Unlike vanilla, they (almost) never miss their targuets and just about 2 or 3 of them are already enough to destroy an MBT. 4 of any of them will almost KO a miner. Obviously it´s not just a "click and kill" unit, microing them is a must. Too sad that the game do not let us waypoint fixed wing aircrafts :/

 

Barracuda useless?  Destroying Superweapons before the enemy realise what is going on? :lol: Seriously, the Barracuda is already ok on the way it is... damn, it´s even currently my favorite T3 bombardment unit.

 

Stormchildren are not even close to be useless neither. Not only decent anti-tank damage, but also one of the best units to kill heroes in the game, with those lasers.

 

MBT? Main Battle Tanks, duh.

 

 

All it takes is some simple AA defenses + units and then those Harriers/Black Eagles/Stormchildren/Barracuda's are useless, although I haven't seen the Barracuda in action much so I'm not entirely sure what they're capable of.

 

I don't even get to vs the Allies often enough to find out what half of their stuff can do, and when I do, they don't even build the Jets. 

 

So, you are commenting shit about factions which you rarely play with/against? lol

 

I was even writing a big reply to you but after reading these lines I simply spotted that you had no idea about what you are talking about.

 

And SWs are n00by? n00by is to complain when SWs are on because "they are mudafuking uncounterable OP 1 buttom win weapon" and piss in fear and whine "oh noez, sell it, this is not fair!", while they create no superweapon games and 50k starting creditz, while they bunker theirselves with shitton of cash and don´t do shit on the hole game. (not your case, but that´s pretty much how many people around act about them).

Barracuda requires sneaking techniques to be useful. If you send them into the crowd then they are useless really.

 

Other jets are fine as they are. Black Eagle can seriously damage miners. Stormchild is the fastest and it's anti-armor damage shouldn't be neglected. They are also good taking out heroes as Brunez mentioned. Harrier applies a weakening AE on the target upon hit.

Actually I prefer playing games without SWs are on, because most players rush for superweapons and they turtle all the time. It's a good tactic, but for me it makes the game boring.

Getting the AI to build amphibious transports then load them with with tanks and shit and assault your shit? A miracle, that would be.

 

Speeder, can you and your team and Ares and it's team do this?

Sure, no problem when playing without them, but do not be those guys :p

 

Yet, I do not find really hard to counter SW rushers. Actually, a good number of them are like the folks I commented, building the SW because the fear they have for those weapons and what they think about them (somewhat philosophical, don´t you think? :p )

That is my problem that they are too easy to counter. The last guy's Nuke Silo got infiltrated 5 times and I Dominated the sh*t out from him. Also I took care of his base with Basilisks and I didn't even launch my army. :(

That is my problem that they are too easy to counter. The last guy's Nuke Silo got infiltrated 5 times and I Dominated the sh*t out from him. Also I took care of his base with Basilisks and I didn't even launch my army. :(

And that's why you wall superweapons.

 

Also, as far as I know, Ares makes "mind controll parasite" type units possible. Why don't you add something like this to the PsiCorps, preferably to replace the Dream Weaver? It should be a cheap, and fast insectoid thingie, pretty small, and vulnerable, able to take control over enemy infantry by infecting them.

I do have some idea with what I'm talking about, I've used them in skirmish before and I've seen two players using them before, two, I've vs'd more than two allied players, a lot more. So.. If it really does take THREE fucking Jets to destroy a single tank, I'm going to be a little shocked with you to be honest, two maybe isn't so bad, but I find it unlikely that you'll be using them for those purposes, once I see you building Jets I'm going to start building AA defenses, and those Jets are probably only good enough to destroy a miner or at the most a power plant, .-.

 

4 Jets that cost $4800 for those little things, huh.

 

Better hope I don't attack your base with only two tanks!

 

 

Superweapons are nooby when people pick shitty maps where their base is on a cliff with bunkers and like one or two entrances and then they just put Guardian GI's and walls blocking the entrances, initially, after that they'll start building Patriot Turrets and whatever other defenses, Soviet/Epsilon counterparts doing the same thing but with their equivalents. (90% of the time)

I thought about that but I kept it as an idea. Well I don't know. Dreamweaver is pretty good and I don't think it should be replaced in any of the sides.

Psi Corps already has enough mind control. Either that "mind control parasite" will be built, or Elites, but not both. Removing Weavers for that would hinder Psi Corps more than help.

So about the naval stuff, I thought maybe it would be cool to make some structures amphibious like they were in Red Alert 3, like the Power Plant, Ore Refinery, Radar, Conyard etc. and maybe even some sort of naval turret, I'd imagine coding the Conyard to deploy in the water would be difficult, so maybe some kind of naval expansion unit? I dunno. But I think it would also open up for some new and exciting campaign missions as well, and breathe life into the naval combat of MO.

 

The main thing I loved about Red Alert 3 was the naval combat.

I think Naval units that were more themed to that faction would be cool too. Also Though a bit of work, some more infantry variance would be neat between sub-factions.

Well the game is a bit quiet .i mean the operator voices,the one who say "ore miner under attack","unit lost",etc.i was thinking what if you change those voices,that will add bunch of excitment in this game,and yes it would be so cool,if you add some movies too,so it will make it damn good

The easy solution is to play really well, then you won't hear them that often. :D

We'll let you know once we've acquired a high-budget film studio to begin production. :p

Vehicle cloning is only available to the AI on Meteor Swarm mode now.

Maybe adding KOTH, Scavengers and Heroic arena mode to Skirmish in the future?

They're bloody awesome, but to find some one who would want to play those modes isn't easy. I like to play it with the AI.

The AI has a lot of difficulty handling those game modes. 

 

It's worth a try, but we make no promises.
