Since this thread is getting too quiet I make something to wake you guys up
By the time we were done in conquering Belarus, our orders lead us to Poland on which we come one step closer to Germany. The Scorpion Cell is attacking from the Mediterranean and send reinforcements through behind enemy lines just in case we need reinforcements and at most times when we ask for reinforcements, only half arrive the main base due to some vehicles broke down on the way, mostly coming from the Oxydizers. Our plan to take Poland was an ambush through their forests and by the cover of the night, we will use light vehicles and Infiltrators to get a good view of the place, we executed our plan and the scouts went ahead first while the main army was behind us. What the Infiltrators found was rather unusual and might be a trick, Poland surrenders to the Epsilon Army. This information may be faulty and needs more research and our research yielded true, as our army emerged from the forest, the locals weren't bothered by our appearance, except for some old people with weak hearts, we just went through the forest and the locals greeted us with complete hospitality. I called Yuri too see if anything that's happening is his doing but even he was surprised that Poland surrendered.Whatever was in our ambush army will now be used to protect the borders of Poland. It took us at least 4 days to cover Poland with preliminary defenses and unpack four MCVs into select areas.
It was somehow unusual for me to see normal people get comfortable with us, when we were in Belarus people were running away from us and we still remember some of their faces and found them here in Poland. Must be a bad day for them seeing us again. Anyways, the people here are quite kind to us, moving their cars and themselves away from the rolling column of tanks and machines. To keep the people from being too scared of us, I ordered my army regiment that no one gets to harm a Polish citizen, Poland is ours and ours to protect and so is its people, it's my way of thanking them in my best of ways. The following days later most of us are just camping outside in and since winter is coming, anyone outside will have to wear twice the furcoats to themselves warm, even with campfires and tents being around. It was the next morning I saw Polish people coming out of their houses and I was curious, so I told an initiate to checkout what they were doing and report to me whatever he finds and her just comes back saying, "They're just cutting down pine trees, Proselyte." "For what?" I replied, but the initiate didn't know what it was for then a second moment passed and a young Polish girl, as old as Libra is and she was holding a cup, came to me and said, "Ey, Mister would you like some hot chocolate?" I know what chocolate was but it was an expensive treat from where I come from, so it was rare for me to eat chocolate. I couldn't deny the offer, it has been a long time since I tasted chocolate so I accepted the girls offer and took the cup from her, after I finished my cup and gave it back to the girl, I asked the initiate, who was still standing there, a question, "How in the world did she get here?" The initiate simply answered, "Well, Proselyte, the camp's pretty much scattered so much of the people here have been passing through this camp every now and then." I put my hand in my face with sheer annoyance, I woke those who were still asleep and told everyone else to fix the camp and make it tidy before noon while I roam around and see the place a bit more.
My army regiment is in Warsaw, if forgot to say which part of Poland I was, and went around too see what's happening and all I see are people greeting me and some of the soldiers, moving away from the tank groups coming in and being nice to the soldiers posted there so much so they were talking to the Polish people but I made sure they won't spill any Epsilon information so I told everyone via communicator, limit your talks with the Polish people or you shall have a ride with the Oxydizer. The soldiers are getting bored of talking to the same people in the Epsilon, and I was too, it's the only reason why I'm a bit liberal right now. I continued going around Warsaw and saw the best parts of the place since most the places we cross by gets destroyed due to the fact they won't surrender to the Epsilon. Night was fast approaching since it was winter, I head back to camp and as I was going back, I stopped by a Polish pub to get something to warm myself up and as I entered, I saw, initiates, archers, duneriders, engineers and other tank crewmen are at the bar, every soldier knew it was me, the Proselyte, who entered and so they all stood up and gave me a salute then some drunk initiate offered me beer by the tall mug and shouted, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" I took the tall mug and put it on a table and then shoved the drunk initiate away. I gave all the soldiers there a deep stare and told them, "Better wake up early tomorrow." I left the pub with the soldiers at an awkward silence, then 10 seconds later became loud. I just shook my head, put hands in my pockets and continued to head back to camp.
The next morning, I saw an old polish man standing in the campsite staring down at the pavement, I went near to the old man and told him that he should move out of the campsite but he looked at me as if though he wasn't listening and told me, "Why are you people not bad as what the European Alliance has told us? Why aren't you destroying the place?" I told the old man take a seat and I took mine, then I replied, "Well, is there any reason to destroy the place, your government surrendered to us, it's just a waste of time and ammunition to wreck the place." The old man smiled at me, "It could be much worse you know, when either Scorpion Cell or Epsilon Headquarters is here that's when things get grisly around here and I mean really grisly, good thing you have me around to keep the place in check or else most of you folks will end up in the Grinders or nasty experiments that would turn anyone's stomach upside down." I continued, the old man was praising me on how of a good leader I was and I thanked him for that then the old man started to walk out of the camp, it was a snowy day in the camp. It was Christmas as the locals told me, some of the soldiers are throwing snowballs at each others as pranks or funny gimmicks and I was having a cup of chocolate. It was a nice day in Warsaw.
