Now that we have all these characters, let's add them all in the game and make an epic hero smashdown map


When rules and arts ini files are released, yeah. Let's make one!

 

Nah, when they are relased, I will buff Libra's attack a "little bit", then make a 7 mental vs me match :D

 

And I will restore Boris, dolphin and killer whale, make Apocalypse available from the start then add that Liberty's Last Stand vehicle that I suggested by myself, haha :thumbsuphappy:

 

 

If you can do this, then can you code my character and the Kalayaan unit I suggested a while back? 

 

Unit coding is easy, the real problem is getting good looking graphics and cameos for them. But with all these characters, we rly need to do some epic shit, be it either fan fiction (unfortunately, I 'm not good at that), or actual in-game stuff.

 

 

Well we got people here with talent for graphics. Cameos. For that we can photoshop some pictures if needed. For voice actors, I wonder if we can record our own voices and send it over.

HEY! PITCH ME IN

 

Proselyte "Hades"

Cost: 1500

Prerequisite: Epsilon Barracks/ Pandora's Hub

Purpose: Multi-purpose, infantry support, anti-infantry

Armor: Cyborg

Weapon: 'Terminus' Cannon [infantry]/ M.A.C. (Mobile Antares Cannon) [units]/ M.P.D. (Mobile Psychic Decimator) [buildings]

 

Additional Information

- Immune to mind control, chaos & radiation

- Each shot causes chaos and damage over time to infantry

- M.A.C. deals huge damage on long distances

- M.P.D. Has lower damage than Resheph but still deals significant damage

- All weapons have the same reload time or attack speed

- Bears an aura that makes infantry and units (ground and air) stronger

- Increases the maximum build area for all buildings (as long as he's alive)

The problem is the SHP, if you don't mind reusing the SEAL, then fine.

As for me, the standard Guardian G.I in vanilla is enough. The LSS vehicle, I've already found a near perfect voxel for it.

Voice Over huh? If only the laptop micro is that good.............

I'd love to voice my own unit, but I can't make any promises yet as I can't remember whether I have a good mic lying around or not.

I might be able to voice my own unit if my dad lets me borrow his mic and headset. As for SPH, mind if you can clarify on that. Also, i could help you on the voicing of the LLS if you want.

What are these teams about and would it not be a good idea to make sure they are on the same side of the war?  After all I would think for example an alliance between "a man who hates duck and has no other want but to hunt rare ducks" and " a man who is in fact a giant duck" Would go over well.  Silly example i suppose i could do a more logical set...but you get the point.

What are these teams about and would it not be a good idea to make sure they are on the same side of the war?  After all I would think for example an alliance between "a man who hates duck and has no other want but to hunt rare ducks" and " a man who is in fact a giant duck" Would go over well.  Silly example i suppose i could do a more logical set...but you get the point.

 

Good to see that some have a sharp eye on this kind of stuff. The teams represent the people who created a character and are allotted to a certain team . What I had in mind was that the characters themselves would have their own roles in the war itself on their respective sides, but would then band together to fight a common foe (still thinking of a 4th party that would force all three factions into working with each other, setting difference aside [I really hope to see that no one makes a really radical character] to survive) that would come out of nowhere and attack everyone. So in the game, the characters are in their respective sides, but this is just to group them beforehand till I get a good enemy in place. Hope everyone else likes this idea.

Oh it is a fine idea, yet unless it is a big enemy or really bad situation it is hard to fix some issues. For a more close to likely example man A is a freedom fighter who saw his country destroyed and his family killed during the war and is fighting to liberate his nation. Yet for person B "Man A is a terrorist who kills uniformed soldiers and causes crackdown thus lessening freedom in his country and ruining chances of a proper solution" War creates some pretty harsh realities, I mean yes things happen, just sounds like a tough task, specifically with three sides. hmm, I wish you good luck on creating good reasons. :) ((I'll try to think too. hehe ))

Well, I'd be more grateful if MM crew allow us to make the characters into a "MO3 Expansion Pack", and make them available for Skirmishes(after adjusting). If possible, maybe we can even add special missions related to these characters in that ExPack, making the MO universe more fulfilled. Will take a long time though, but I'll sure be glad to learn and start to be a modder if this plan is confirmed.

 

Will take us a looooooong time to do this though. But it's not a bad thing to be an idealist on the internet, right?

Well if that's the case I can shift around characters that have that kind of alignment and put them in their respective sides that are far away from their polar opposites, but this grouping is just an way to organize things and the users can tell me if they want to change groups, and I have an obligation to listen since I started all of this, and it's also good to see another person pleased of all of this going well.

Me too. But don't worry too much, it also took MM years to release a beta isn't it? And now in university I'm in the Computer Science and Technology dept., this should be an advantage(for a new modder).

To modders, I think time is never a big problem. We should do things right before fast.

For RA2, there's Final Alert, but MO requires a special map editor that a certain someone (I'm looking at you RP) has to build and provide.

For RA2, there's Final Alert, but MO requires a special map editor that a certain someone (I'm looking at you RP) has to build and provide.

 

As far as I know Final Alert is for making maps only you need other programs to make and create units.
