#1015138 Celebration topic

Celebrating 5 years at Revora! (Technically 2 days ago :p)

Just wanted to say thank you to this amazing community for everything they have done for me over the past couple of years and dealing with all the "shit" that I brought to the administration. It is hard to believe that when I started here I was finishing middle school and have since then completed high school.

Here is to the next 5 at which point I will hopefully be finished with college!

#999902 Just wondering if this is new? DevTeam Debug Mode...

Posted by Elric on 05 April 2015 - 01:31 AM

Now if we could persuade Ridder Geel aka Bart to do some of this...... hahahahahah

#999898 Just wondering if this is new? DevTeam Debug Mode...

Posted by Elric on 05 April 2015 - 01:15 AM

I had that idea a long time ago but that wasnt so viable as it is now. As Mathijs said, it probably wont happen but if it could be released as open source that would be the biggest thing ever done in BFME modding history probably.

Off of Revora I love to game on my PC or my PS4 preferably playing at this moment League of Legends + COD: AW (Haters gonna hate)

#977212 Rage Hammer- Apple September 9th Event

Posted by Elric on 15 September 2014 - 02:27 AM

Im not talking specs, im talking build quality and that once was true where if you drop an iphone it breaks but now its not exactly true anymore. case or not it can survive a drop. They arent terrible and they are very easy to use. Go to an Apple store sometime galaxy fanboy and tell me they are hard to use, all you have to do is turn it on and touch an app and your set to use anything, i dont need the custom ability of andriod which changes like what is it every few months?

As for the 8 megapixel camera sure its 8mp but it also has technology upping the shots sharpness thus making each photo actually worth something where as with a large bulky camera which you cant fit in your pocket you have to do all the adjustments your self. The iPhone just does it for you and if you want a filter then sure add it.

Apples products even if they dont have have the best specs have the quality and premium feel that other phones wish they had. Plus if we really want to take sides i find it funny that both competitors just steal the same ideas from eachother, galaxy stole the touch id, apple stole screen resolutions.

Apple has a 64bit system while Galaxy doesnt, they both have there pluses and minus i choose apple for there build quality and overall easier to use software.

I agree with Bofur.

The Apple iPhone IMO is the best smartphone out there, it is made of the higher quality materials and has a simple OS that is user friendly. Even if haters gonna hate you can't deny the build quality and the aluminum chassis on there products is outstanding.

#976450 I Hate Apple

Posted by Elric on 10 September 2014 - 03:02 AM

Its not necessarily the streams issue but rather how many users are watching it. The event was fine for me. so eh.

#976435 I Hate Apple

I disagree, apple had fantastic products for those willing to pay the premium I think the reason they make it so you can only watch the event on the device is to give the message that if you don't have a product yet then you should go get one. It's for apple enthusiasts like developers etc. Also, the stream did mess up a little bit. But after about 10-20min it was fine for me on all my devices.
