@Solais
I believe that is for pointing out the technological differences and tactics of the factions. Foehn relies on advanced weaponry a lot, whereas the Soviets do not lean on super high tech that much and Allies have the best coordination between the cutting edge and support units/infantry.

These are all still going to take a while before I'm done updating the descriptions.

Allied Tech Tree is clickable now, you can click on a cameo to get to the object's profile.

Seeing the progress of it being updated day-by-day is somewhat exciting. :p

It's like watching a level being made from nothing to finish. Or a speed drawing.

Soviet units are now being updated. Apocalypse is gone from the list. (Though, stolen tech in general is missing from these, so there's still hope.)

Hmm, it's been said that the Stalin's Fist has a new cameo now, and is build able as a building, but I don't see it in Buildings page while in Units page the cameo is the same (units page is in process of being updated now BTW).

That's because the Stalin's Fist stays in the Units tab after all.

Wait... I see something new... Can it be that the wolfhounds missles are AA only?

And also, for clarification when it says that a unit fires one weapon then the other (bulldog, warhawk, Abrams) does that affect the Rate of fire? So will the warhawk laser fire less often now?

Wolfhound missiles are not AA only.

Usually when a unit fires two weapons now it doesn't fire less of it compared to its 3.0 version.

Alright. gonna be updating my list of upcoming features compilation. from here https://forums.revor...-see/?p=1033314

Additions and Conformations:

  • Russia gets a "Terror Drop" Support power. it drops terror drones.
  • The "Tigr APC" replacing the Tsivil for Russia
  • Naval Mine: A Shipyard support where a naval mine is deployed
  • Gear Change: A Industrial Plant support power where you will get 3,000$ but all production must cease for a period of time for maintenance.
  • Fiery Squad: An Anbush ability that deploys 3 Pyros and a Flame Turret at location. does not replace Motor Ambush.
  • New USA infantry: Riot Trooper. Heavy infantry that alternates between flashbang and Riotgun. possesses potent range. Debuffer and Garrison clearer.
  • New Euro Alliance infantry: Sniper. Long range single target elimination. can deploy for increased range and defense.
  • New Pacific Front Infantry: Suppressor. Hoverboard unit that can turn enemy attacks into healing with Chrono Technology.
  • The Dolphin returning to the Allied Navy. equipped with a Prism weapon.
  • The Battleship for the Allied Navy. appears to be a "Monster Tank" For the Allied navy. shorter range the Carrier, but far greater ranger then the Destroyer and more durable. focusing on taking out other units.
  • Latin Confederation Fury Drone: An explosive suicide robot that can lie n' wait for unsuspecting targets by burrowing underground. remaining stealthed.
  • Latin Confederation Arsonist: Can disguse like a spy to and plant anti-structure incendiary bombs. cannot swim like a Crazy Ivan.

  • In the Fohen reveal trailer, There appears to be a Soviet tank similar in appearance to the Mastodon Tank but with more conventional weapons.
  • The Backwarp power now works in Pulses at the deployed point and ejects terror drones. It appears may not "eject" a terror drone.
  • In the Fohen reveal trailer, There appears to be a Soviet tank similar in appearance to the Mastodon Tank but with more conventional weapons.
  • A "Dustdevil" Jet that can deploy smoke bombs on enemies. T3 unit. Latin Confederation still retains the smoke bombs power. but now no longer free as it once was. but now buffed with a longer duration.
  • The "Iron Guard" Defensive structure. avalible after the Construction of the Iron Curtain, these scaled down, more unstable versions of the Iron Curtain gives an iron curtain effect around nearby vehicles around short intervals.

--- Corrections:

  • The Addition of the Epsilon "Aerodome" for the upcoming airforce expansion. Likely to replace the Radar Spire structure as a radar providing building and associated abilities (Scout Raven)

is now:

  • The Addition of the Epsilon "Aerodome" for the upcoming airforce expansion. This does not provide radar so it does NOT replace the Radar Spire.

--

Time to add collected info for our Sharkbros!

  • The 3 subfactions of the Foehn are "Last Bastion", "Haihead" and "Wings of Coronia". judging by the names and revealed units so far. Last Bastion appears defense oriented with slow, heavy or deployable units. Haihead appears to favor aggression. like a shark! seems to favor Confusion technology to aid in attacking. Wings of Coronia appear highly Airforce oriented and use of heavy, slow fliers and gunships.
  • USA's Basswave and sonic weaponry is removed. Foehn now expands on Sonic Weaponry
  • Epsilon's Chaos weaponry is removed. Foehn's confusion technology is the successor
  • A "Windspin" mechanic for Foehn. This allows Windspin capable unit to increase speed when near a "Spinblade Engine".
  • A "Windbelt" power system for Foehn. mobile power plants that can deploy to generate power. can connect with other deployed Windbelts to function as their wall. each wall segment between them can increase power output. watch out for spies though.
  • suggested T1 defense structures for the Foehn appears to be a turret with a sonic weapon. another appearing as a hole into the earth, mentioned by Speeder to deploy an anti aircraft drone to chase and shoot down enemy aircraft. similar to the Psicorps Ghenna Platform.
  • Two technology tier structures. the Nanofibre Loom and Cyberkernel. build order not yet revealed. Nanofibre loom can deploy the "Nanofibre Sync" ability to upgrade compatible Foehn infantries.
  • Foehn Structure: Cloud Piercer. likely to function as their Airbase.
  • The Grand Cannon/ Hammer/ Antares Battery equivalent to the Foehn appears to be the "Plasmerizer".
  • A Haihead support unit called the "Irritator". equipped with a confusion ray and can deploy a flare launcher to aid in targeting enemies.
  • A Haihead unit called the "Megalodon". Appearing as a bipedal mech with an energy slash attack, this close range mech uses a "Megaarena" Mechanic. where being around a Megaarena projector gives significant buffs to the Megalodon. it is currently unknown if the Megaarena system can extend to other units as wll
  • The Last Bastion unit called the "Sweeper". a defense oriented drone that can deploy into a cloaked missile turret. Can Windspin
  • A Last Bastion unit called the "Mastodon". functioning as their T3 Tank, it carries a powerful Plasma-Railgun weapon that requires a charge before firing. Seems to cause a "heat haze" effect around a targeted  enemy. a similar looking tank appears in the Foehn reveal Trailer used by the Soviets.
  • A Wings of Coronia unit called the "Alanqa Skystation". a flying unit that weaponizes Tornadoes. generalist gunship with weak armour.
  • A Wings of Coronia unit called the Petranodon. a large gunship with a powerful AoE attack that appears to look like a cloud of static.
  • A Wings of Coronia support power that summons the Harbinger Gunship similar to the one found in RA3. it flies around the selected area for a period of time to fire its powerful energy weapons at units and structures. requires an addon to the Sky Piercer structure.
  • A Foehn General unit called the "Teratorn". Functioning as their T1 Anti-Air unit. more powerful then other AA units of it's class but is highly specialized. cannot target anything other then aircraft. uses a targeting laser before firing.
  • A Foehn General unit called the "Jackal Racer". A hovering scout vehicle equipped a a sonic weapon and a limited transport capability. can Windspin
  • A Foehn General unit called the "Warturtle". Functioning as their amphibious transport built from their shipyard. appears unarmed. Can Windspin.
  • A Foehn General unit called the "Swordfish". Functions as their basic fighting boat like the Destroyer/ Typhoon/ Piranha. Uses a weapon effective against structures and units but not infantry. can Windspin
  • A Foehn General unit called the "Angelshark". a naval unit using Confusion Ray technology. can deploy to deploy a confusion mine. requires the Cyberkernel
  • Unknown Foehn unit: A Gunship that appears to summon meteors to attack ground targets. seems to be escorted by three spheres. limited info.
  • Unknown Foehn unit: A Buggy like unit that appears to be firing a red laser. possibly a targeting system of sorts. limited info
  • Unknown Foehn Structure. A heavy turret with twin laser weapons. appearances suggests it is mobile but requires deployment.
  • Unknown feature: An ability to summon drop pods from the sky to deploy Foehn infantry.
  • Speculation: Foehn ecobooster structure may grant a bounty system
  • Speculation: The Foehn reveal trailer appears to have some examples of Foehn technology used by the Soviets. Likely China (and the sacking of Kanegawa Industries). possibly hinting the early stages of the Foehn in the storyline.

That should be good for now. anything else i missed?

Regarding Foehn's tier 3 defense: The confirmed one is the Plasmerizer. However, teasers also show a huge quad laser weapon like thing too(Unknown Foehn defense as Schottkey mentioned). If the Foehn is going to get two tier 3 defenses at the same time, they are going to be a little bit overpowered obviously.
There was a hole-in the-ground like structure on teasers too. In addition to a Saruman's tower like defensive structure( I could not find a better description for that :D). Which i suppose is the Megareena projector because it was shown with the Haihead Irritator.
I think that Angelshark is the equivalent for the giant squid and the dolphin because Foehn already got a standard naval unit and it seems to be not as poweful as the other factions "harder hitting naval units" (like Dreadnought, Resheph, Carrier or Battleship).
Regarding Schottkey's mentioned aerial Foehn Unit. It seems that it is the counterpart of Coronia's Alanqa Skystation and going to be utilized by the other Foehn subfactions.

Man, you guys really think the Plasmerizer is going to be their T3 defence? It looks more like a "heroic" type thing to me, like the Centurion and Irkalla. I mean, the thing's bloody massive: 4x4 cells of space, it seems :)

Speeder, this Chrono-Lift thing teleports structures, right? If so, could I teleport large structures over an enemy battalion, in turn, insta-killing that battalion?... :/

Infinitive absence.

I'm more interested whether the Warpshop itself can be chronolifted, so it could jump to enemy base step by step :D

As for killing units by chronoshifting a building on them, the answer most likely can be found in Ares documentation. If I recall correctly, the building itself will likely be destroyed in this process or not chronoshifted at all.

EDIT: found it

Other changes:

It is now possible to chronoshift buildings. Note that there is a difference to chronoporting units: If a building cannot be placed in the target location it will blow up in the source location (if the default Chronosphere.BlowUnplaceable=yes is used). Vehicle-type buildings will try to find a fitting place just like units would.

About chronolift: You are unable to shift both wrapshop and chronosphere. Also, you cannot shift your buildings in radius of other wrapshops.

Did anyone notice there is a "Four Elements" Thing going with the factions? Fire Water Air and Earth? fuckin' magnets. how do they work?

Fire: Soviets. Use of red, flame based weaponry. Scorching Radiation weapons, Highly aggressive.

Water:  Allies. Blue. A big navy. use of Cryo Weaponry. The Navy SEAL. fluid and adaptable with their IFV's and deployable infantry.

Air: Foehn. Okay, not yellow but lots of Sonic weaponry, their windspin mechanic and various other air based attacks. expected to have a huge airforce with Wings of Coronia

Earth: Epsilon. While not green (aside from toxin), they got lots of dirty brownish color scheme for their vehicles. couple diggers like the APC and the reworked Tyrant. and giant bug creatures. bugs live in the earth, right?.

Living in harmony until it all changed when the Soviets attacked :ninja:  intentional or not, i think that is kind of neat.

Speculation: Anyone notice that Soviet tank used in the Foehn reveal trailer? looks like the Mastodon. what kind of purpose does it fill? or will it be a campaign only unit to explain the creation of the Mastodon? or will it be part of a Soviet subfaction somewhere down the line? since the stolen tech units are not on the factions page so its safe to assume more things will get added to the revised pages later. what's your guesses?

I think that tank is really the prototype of Mastodon(same size, chassis, turret but a single barreled conventional gun in addition to Soviet-like details and textures). That trailer scene also shows Soviet Nuke Silos protected by the Windbelt. Which can mean the Foehn and also the development of Mastodon has something related to the Soviets and especially China. Main reasoning/Speculation for that is in fact the Soviets were leading the Heavy Tank development before the Foehn actually came into existence. This leads us to the possibility that Foehn is the co-operation of the Surviving members of all the other factions(not Epsilon). Remember the jackal racer prototypes in one of the Allied Campaign missions.
To directly answer the question Schottkey 7th Path asked: Possibly that is the campaign only unit shown during the creation process of the Foehn.

Now what mission has the Prototype Jackal racers?

Speaking of which, there is also a co-op mission where a production plant for a "Super-Thor" needs to be destroyed. possible hint of an Allied Epic-Unit? though the facility was destroyed, it could just be one of many prototypes. and might emerge for ACT 2.  :ninja: (might be more then a Thor with a shield for a possible epic-unit.)

The Super-Thor was destroyed, that's why the Allies will never ever get a super unit. :shiftee:

My mistake: It was not a Allied mission. It was an Epsilon mission controlling the Chinese against the Pacific Front. If I am remembering correctly, you were to destroy their tech lab and then wipe them out. Prototype Jackal Racers are only visible in Speeder's latest playtrough but not in the actual public release.
Allies don't need an epic unit. They are a well balanced faction with a lot of offensive and support units with a sophisticated high technology. That's why they don't need anything to "fill the gap" and that's why I love them the most. :D

I also wish that the Foehn tech list to be revealed soon-ish just like the Allies and the Soviets at the moment. I hope.

Ah well, back to spamming Aircraft Carriers then. as long as there is water around. And the Black Widow still looks super useful though. As Epic units go in the CnC series, i doubt anything will top the Centurion Tripod.  The one (and only) Chinese artillery! fill it with Eradicators and you got War of the Worlds.

Ah, see them in the "Think Different" Video. Kanegawa Industries legacy continues to live on! I still predict that a Steinstech branch in Finland may be a part of Foehn that survived the Soviet invasion in Winter War II and it became the Haihead  :p .

Another thing, i think its kinda funny how the Soviets have a very good Fighter Jet looking at the Foxtrot's stats. seems better then Allies basic fighters craft in terms of versatility.. only a bit slower but more tougher then the PF's Black Eagle. looks alot better then the Harrier. (though Stormchild does have the speed advantage and lasers, certainly not armor).

But i can see how their only other aircraft is a smokescreen bomber and inability to construct support airstrips works as a limiting factor for the soviet airforce. and the choice of the KIROV
