The mission called "Golden gate" sort of ended in a way that implied a continuation. Can we expect a revisit to San Francisco?

You bet.
I think they will have their own turn on the timemachine from vanilla YR but instead Foehn revolt will appear just like the scrin in c&c3(except from the future than space). I bet it's gonna be San Francisco, but sadly i guess only one side will explore it. My rant that it will be on the epsilon's mission list due to how they swapped Allies and soviets in act 1 with their first mission.

I'm pretty fine if they rework some of the original yr/ra2 campaign scenarios and re-purpose them for their own storyline.

I thought they said that no time travelling would be involved

I am incredibly angry that the knightsframe doesn't say "Deus vult" or "We will take jerusalem!".

They sound more like Jap samurai rather crusaders IMO. Fight with honor, chivalry is not dead. All that.

Yeah but.. "Deus vult" and "We will take jerusalem!" are memes, and I like memes, as long as they're not taken too far. You are right, they sound more like japanese samurais.

Still, the update had a fair amount of references in it, and I like that.

The Knave part sounds like medieval knights though

Knightframes are portrayed like generic medieval knights, not only limited to crusaders. If knightframes said "Deus Vult" or "Remove Kebab" that's make Foehn look like a theological organization

EDIT: I think it will be fitter if knightframes have French accent, because 'chivalry' is a word rooted from French languange

my bad on that one, it was how i think they'd get introduced, was corrected on the discord server.
Though it's really a good opportunity...

What's everyone's opinion on the Foehn monster tanks and how they compare?

For me, the Pteranodon is really good. The speed and fire-on-the-move makes it amazing at hit-and-run. It shreds all tanks and it gets stupid good if you're able to mass up to 8 or so. Plus Scottish accent.

The Mastodon seems strong, but like the Bison, you have to stand still for a while to maximise their effectiveness (settle the herd, so to speak). It's kind of clunky but still fun to use.

The Megalodon feels weak for me. They have paper armour without Megaarena. Anyone know how to use it properly outside of Megaarena?

Megalodon is cheap and immune to mind control. So it's best used against Psicorps who rely heavily on masterminds I think.

Mastodon is.....more of a shield than a tank. It never die when properly used, but at the same time it barely do enough damage either. It works great with your infantry blob due to the healing aura that came from the support power. Its cost is just ridiculous, but it does feel worth it with the durability,

Pteranodon+Buzzard+Alanqua+Quetzal is everything you need as Wings of Coronia. The destroy everything, even dedicated AA tanks.

Anybody know how to use Eureka? Her weapon doesn't seem to be good against anything that isn't a tank, requires charge up times as well. Among the Foehn heroes she's always the first one to die and cause the least damage because you just have to spread your tanks out and Viruses kill her so fast.

Yeah, Eureka is unfortunately my least favorite hero among Foehn in terms of practicality (?)

I think Eureka is meant to be hit-and-run (of a sort). I'm not sure if I remember this properly, but Eureka doesn't need to stand still to charge up her weapon. If the animation triggers, she can run away and let the plasma wave activate by itself.

This is supported by the fact that Eureka benefits from Spinblades.

You can run away with your flock of Pteranodons and lure the enemy into a plasma wave.

That being said, Uragan has more versatile damage and can stand as anti-air and anti-structure. Fin and Alize are deceptively beefy and destroy everything except for aircraft.

Eureka's voice is good though... she requires support from other units, not a "solo-type" hero(ine) unit IMO, also she sometimes will cause friendly fire to my units (especially infantry) due to the nature of her weapon.

Can anyone tell the difference between the Soviet MIDAS ICBM and Tactical Nuke? Although I guess that the MIDAS is a fusion nuclear weapon whose yield are in megatons and less radioactive while the Tactical Nuke is a fission nuclear weapon whose yield are in kilotons and more radioactive.

And I wonder what is the meaning of the MIDAS acronym...

The problem is that her weapon have no effect against anything except tanks. Nobody's gonna blob theirs tanks in a box formation only to be hit by her plasma blast. That greatly reduced her usefulness on the field.

Wings of Coronia does not have a problem vs tank spam when it have Pteranodon and generic Railguneers. If anything I would like her to be anti-building or infantry or reduced damage but good vs everything instead,

Eureka can do well against larger structures. Using force fire on the ground is the way i roll when i use her, to stay outside most of weapons and still deal any sort of damage.

Megalodon's major disadvantage is meele range. It maybe useful vs PsiCorps - unless they bring Magnetrons/MagBeam into play.

Also, about MIDAS... lovalmidas maybe? :V

I think mastodon reload time should be reduced.

Why increase Mastodon damage output? The Foehn Godsbane are extremely effective when they're massed and they shoot reasonably fast. It's usually enough to compensate for Mastodon's okay damage.

I'm thinking about victory pop-out pictures.

I could be better if those creators change them to Red Alert 3's victory banner... or MO's own style banner.

I've been trying to make Foehn's RA3's style banner for my own artwork. Not for the game if creator not ask for it.

Conscript reporting.

I agree, it may be a good idea to make new MO-themed pop-out pictures (the old ones were already altered though, with Tank Destroyer replaced with a different tank), but I doubt it is possible to show a specific picture based on player's faction. Most likely there can be only one picture for win, one for lose and one for game over.
