Dang, and yet I watched this one, can't believe I forgot it. Still, you've got to admit that the very idea of creating a mission invloving San Francisco and Alcatraz for Epsilon is just begging to be released.

Might as well give the Abrams an infantry slot while you are at it, and also a built in prism system, oh and don't forget about the Abilty to transform into Wing Gundam Zero.

The missile idea was a bit ridiculous, but I still believe that the lasers should be buffed, and as long as I still got a hole in my arse big boy I am not changing my mind.

What the fuck did I just type.

Well, tbh I expected the lasers to be somewhat useful if they DO attack the vehicles and buildings between the main cannon's shots now. Back in pre-3.3 days I recall reading about Abrams' firepower against vehicles and building being buffed due to addition of this new feature, but I don't see lasers doing any damage to anything that isn't a drone or infantry. They hardly do any damage to vehicles and buildings, so what's the point in allowing them to attack these targets?

Per chance, are you perhaps the guy who once questioned the 2 knightframes in the Gharial?

And the lasers just look pretty when fired after the mainngun. The cannon is strong enough already.

No, I am not the person who questioned that gharial thing.

"Look pretty" Oh come on, is that your best argument?

Well, I meant to say not everything needs to be that functional. If we follow your logic, Bulldog Flashbangs should be buffed against vehicles and Irkalla imploder cannons should be buffed against infantry and the Dissolver lasers nerfed against infantry. It is meant to look intimidating.

Well honestly I'm not sure why Tanya's miniature laser rifle does so much more damage than a laser mounted on a damn tank. However, the tiny damage buff is welcoming against smaller vehicles. Also flash bangs should not do damage to vehicles, that is just ridiculous.

>complaining about logic in game that have mind control, weather control, rad cannons, confusion beams and magnetic hovercrafts

There are different types of lasers. Abrams one is less powerful and vs infantry specialized version.

It's Warhammer 40k-tier laser weapon lol

Brutes and any HQ-made infantries are quite superhuman

Maybe Yuri is an immortal man from prehistoric era

No matter how stupidly insane this game might be, there is a always an exploration for it. Weather control, radiation weapons, hovercrafts with magnetic weapons are all within the realm of grasp of today's technological standards. Red Alert had always based itself in the possibilities of different technologies and this is still true in Mental Omega. Logic rules, there is no escaping it. Perhaps there is a perfectly good reason for Abrams laser to be else's effective, maybe it's the the focusing lens, or maybe someone traveled forward in time to the grim dark universe of 40k and brought back a flashlight.

P.s If you think about it, maybe Yuri is the god emperor :0

When our boy Siegfried is in charge everything is possible, except anti-tank lasers I guess.

Logic can never get along with game balance unless you want a military simulation.

But.....this debate, is it about balance or logic?

If it's about balance, go play 3.0 and compared the old Abrams to the current one. That one was downright pitiful.
