Are you certain that the installation will only work on an SCSI drive? I previously had Forshire's Special Editions installed and they worked on a DT drive, a bug is currently making me unable to create any SCSI drives so installation is proving impossible for me at the moment.

Hi everyone,
The BFME bug bit me again today as I woke up, so I decided to visit this thread
My main question is with regards to Daemon Tools and Alcohol 52% and Win 10.
DTools doesn't want to install for obvious reasons, so I decided to try A52%, but for some reason the installation doesn't want to complete. Can someone perhaps link me a copy that is working for them on Win 10 without any issues please?
I only want to use it for BFME2's mini image and nothing else.
Thanks a lot

And did you mount to SCSI?
Yep. And it seems it isn't me as there are others here who experience the same thing. Has anyone got it working on Win 10 ?

So... I've ran BFME (1 & 2) on my Windows 8 comp, and I downloaded ROTWK from this thread, but I can't mount it in an SICI or however you say it, and all of the exes in the folders say they can't run on this PC now... any ideas what might cause that?

Is there an alternative to the SCSI drives? Windows 8.1 seems to be incompatible with them.

Put BFME2 back on 1.06 before playing RotWK. That looks like a crash caused by a 1.09 addition: Mordor walls.

Didn't read all the posts - Just wanted to say you don't need deamontools or alch to install BFME (only one i tried) - can install right from the file by running setup from _winrar_

Can't get this to work, The link you provided for Patch 1.08 ( https://www.gamerepl...howtopic=937340 ) Is a link to the PATCH SWITCHER. I'm working with Windows 10 and I keep getting the damn No CD error or if I use compatibility with windows xp/7/8 I just get a CTD. I can't use Alchohol 52 because it's bunk with Windows 10 apparently. WHAT CAN I DO

So I just said fk it and downloaded all of ROTWK and followed all the steps but I'm still getting the same outcome, it's either no cd in the disc drive or if I change compatibility to something else it's "blablabla has stopped working"

OK I got it working after reading ( https://www.gamerepl...dpost&p=9820652 ) I left clicked on the desktop shortcut and chose "run with graphics processor" 'High Performance NVIDIA Processor', I guess it was trying to use the integrated one by default and causing the issues.

So apparently 1.09 got a bugfix update? Maybe should update the download page for 1.09

I used to play BFME 2 on my Windows 7 PC and wanted to get back into it after the HD mod and the 1.09 patch. However, I now have a Windows 10 PC.
I followed the guide at this forum completely except where I couldn't install the old version of Daemon Tools Lite (didn't work on Windows 10) and tried WunCDEmu and the latest version of Daemon Tools Lite - both times by completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
The game works on Windows 10 with a NOCD crack, however, I can't play online with that. When I try to use the original image or the mini image with WinCDEmu or the built in Windows 10 ISO mounter (with the full ISO), I get an error saying please insert the correct DVD.
I tried the launch fixer as well as the All In One Patch till 1.09. On a side note, I also have ROTWK in my Origin library and if I install that, it works (version 2.00), but, if I install the 2.01 patch from GameReplays, I get the same error again.
Thanks a lot!

BFME2 currently only runs on 1.00. Mounting the .mfs or .mds.
Device control intrerface: Windows ATAPI/SCSCI Control Interface.
Missing DVD error when attempting to run on any other patch. (1.06, 1.08, 1.09)
Using Alcohol 52 because Win10.
Thanks for any help.

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."
