Hello,
How do you mount the iso files to SCSI using WinCDEmu? I cannot find an option to do that.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I downloaded the BFME2 did the patches then the witch king also installed the patches but it doesnt open so I can play it.
Also that thing with the game.dat and how to mount it confuses me cause I can't find those files. Nor understand what to really do with them.

I have done everything correctly but the game when I try to open it, it says after a while that it doesnt respond and it closes. What am I missing here?

Probably the options.ini
Also run as admin and in xin xp sp3 compatibility.

Hey guys !
For BFME1, got a "Insert the correct CD-ROM" notification when I'm trying to play (obviously, after downloading the game and all the rest going well).
Btw, I'm using Alcohol 120%
I've seen further up that I need to use the mini image but I've not seen anyone giving it for BFME1, only the two others.
Any help/idea ? Cheers in advance

Hey, guys. I'm just having a little trouble getting BFME 1 up and running.
I've completed these steps;
But when trying to complete step 5, the download that takes place when running the update.exe fails (FYI i'm trying to install it to the same directory as the game installation, i'm assuming this is correct)
Any help would be appreciated
Also, does this 'all in one patch 1.06 installer' include the HD textures and the ability to play at a decent resolution (that isn't a square) or are these separate downloads?
Edit; Welp, i've resolved this issue. only to find i now have the die in 3 minutes issues, despite running it as admin in comparability mode :(
Double Edit; everything is fine! Just had to reinstall to my C drive, no idea why but i read it online somewhere and it worked

I've just installled BfME2 and RotWK and done entire instruction. BfME2 works well with that game.dat file but the image for launching RotWK without CD seems to not work. Could you help me?
Thanks in advance
PS: You're doing great job guys, thanks That's the game of my childhood (now I'm 18) I was very suprise to see it still alive and I really want to play it again

Install the all in one patch installer which patches your game up to patch 1.06. You won't need mini images anymore afterwards.

Manually install the new game.dat from the Rotwk patch 2.02. It's linked on the patch page.

Install the patch to the main installation directory of the game. When you start the game it should show you that it is on patch 1.09

Hey guys. I just recently got a windows 10 machine again and thought about reinstalling the BFME series, but my disks are far too knackered. So I thought I'd try downloading them with this guide but I seem to have cocked it up somehow. I've never done mounting or anything of the sort before so I just feel totally lost!
As it stands I followed the guides for BFME 1 & 2. However when the I start up the games they reach the initial loading screens and then just crash - BFME 1 actually gives me a game.dat error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling (including the patches) from the .iso for both games but this hasn't helped.
Any recommendations/advice would be appreciated. Cheers!
EDIT - reading further it seems this start-up error is a bloody nightmare! Hopefully you guys have some suggestions because I don't even understand what half of the troubleshooting guides are even saying!
Hey guys sorry for the waste of time! I ran the start-up fixer for BFME 2 and realised I had not actually been altering the extension of my custom options file from .txt to .ini, I had just been changing the name of the file. Sorry again!

Hi! Please, anyone knows how to download the offline Patch 1.06 all-in-one installer ?
That patch weights only 720 KB, because it downloads all the other patches, "1.03, 1,05, and 1.06" but i need to install it offline. Where i can download the offline patch, or at least, the three patches for offline install?
Thanks in advance!

I've posted direct links quite often here in the forum, just search for them. Google will probably also provide you with direct links.
You will need the original game, and then patch 1.03, 1.05 and 1.06, that's all.

The 1.03 patch from the installer never downloaded for me, and the previous links in this thread are dead.
you can find it online though.

Hmm, I can't test it at the moment, does anyone else have this problem?
You can try to install the patches one by one
Download and install patch 1.03 --> http://www.the3rdage...tem-364?addview
Download and install patch 1.05 --> http://www.the3rdage...tem-779?addview
Download and install patch 1.06 --> http://www.the3rdage.net/download-1767
Download and install the T3a Client --> http://online.the3rd...BFME1_1.5.3.msi
If you want to have big zoom out, install this as well --> http://www.the3rdage...tem-788?addview
The 1.03 link works, but the page it links you to had a dead download link.
