This job is already very taxing for our free time, and the Zero issue has been nearly doubling the amount of our own free time invested in keeping the peace.  He's taking from our personal lives, but I'm sure he doesn't care about that.  Fortunately, we have some of the brightest minds in the galaxy on our side, and we'll have the issue resolved soon enough. People like you supporting is us more helpful than you know, Dimitery.

Also some talk from chat where he says that he will not wait six months and that will make a false accs just to play. So if he can expalin that it would be nice. But that everything is not so black I believe that he has a great passion for this game and that he can not without it and that everyone deserves a second chance.

I've spoken with the guy.  He seems a bit easily influenced, but I think he means well.  Most of our community young'ins are like that.  Regardless of any nasty little pinches he sends our way, I like to think we can give him a second chance one day.  Heck, Zero got about 10 second chances.

I have reasons for all the things that I did and I had no other choice but to do it. I think that I have proven myself that I would never do this again and I have given proof to some admins that Green_ZERO even gave me fake accounts for me to play with them but I refused his offer. I will not be fooled by him again.

I am also a firm believer of the "you do the crime, you do the time" ideology, but it needs to be reasonable, and there needs to be transparency the community should be allowed to openly discuss these issues. A 6 month ban is not reasonable... But it may very well be, because I have my doubts that granola is not being sincere and will just repeat his offence, but everyone deserves a chance (or two).

I want to thank you guys for defending me. I understand that you have doubts that I can repeat my actions again. However I have provided proof on this thread that I was actually fooled by Green_ZERO to giving him his account. I really didn't want to do this.

As I imagine he was easily intimidated or duped by GreenZero and made the mistake of giving his account..

 

But is it fair that players like wooki, dunetiger, xtremizer, and others received their accounts very quickly while you are being much more harsh to granola..

 

why..? 

 

Granola is just a 10 year old boy (lol) who wants to play a game...and you segment and ruin the community on the actions of a banned player.

 

 

In all seriousness he regrets his actions and I will vouch for granola that he just enjoys the game..and at the time made the mistake of trusting gz...

 

Gz is very manipulative and a sweet talker..I almost gave him my acct at one point too..

 

 

But on the surface Gz is very Narcissistic and has one of the worst egos in KW i seen..

He is a good player and has a good youtube channel but all this shit goes to his head..

Next time write " If you give your account to someone YOu will get permbanned if caught"...be specific...

This whole gz problem has gone way to far, granola got caught in the mix and made a mistake thats all. I doubt he will make the same mistake and i also feel the punishment was to way to harsh to begin with.

Regardless of what has happened in the past, as far as I'm concerned and everyone else is Green_ZERO is simply squandering an otherwise excellent service provided to us from the goodness of these people hearts, as we all know they take time out of their day and spend money out of their pockets just so we can play online. Although both parties are at fault in some way Green_ZERO has crossed the line, and showed us his true colours... I hope a solution is found to this problem so we can put it behind us.

My final say on the matter. From a completely unbiased/objective standpoint, the only way this "conflict" can end is by either unbanning Green_ZERO or if that's not an option (for whatever reason) then finding a way to actually stop him from playing. Because Green_ZERO as far as I know feels as if you guys have wronged him and wont accept any kind of ban whether it be 1 week or 1 month without making accounts to play, unless ofcourse I'm mistaken and you can make some sort of arrangement with him (although highly unlikely). So yeah... there's really only two ways this can end.

Alright, one problem I'm addressing right now.

 

Dimitery you claim that GZ has been wronged with? you already know what damage he's been doing to revora and gamereplays, and to the people of revora and gamereplays, for some reason, I'm proud to say many Command And Conquer players are well over the age of 15 (( sometimes? )), but they are manipulated like a 9 year old told to get in the white van to get free candy!

 

If GZ has been wronged with, this doesn't mean he goes on a rampage to destroy the community that's running a free service for us to enjoy Command And Conquer. He never spoke to any one of the Administrators and is a complete shithead if you expose him for the lying bastard he is and not get manipulated by him, honestly he's probably a 10 year old in a 20 year old's body, watching his ego makes me cringe and feel sad most of the time.

 

In conclusion, he hasn't been wronged with, he just wants to promote his shitty Youtube channel with 12 year olds flooding them.

I'm going to speak for Revora here, not for Gamereplays. This is our perspective on the matter.

 

Green_ZERO has wasted our collective time, wasted server space by making thousands of fake accounts, and has come close to costing us money when he tried to participate in a tournament that he was banned from. Also, there is the fact that we spent a lot of time developing this Gamespy substitute, for free, and purposefully logging in and ruining the server's atmosphere by disrupting events and flaming our members is something we do not appreciate. I think maybe you'd understand this if you were the one spending hundreds of hours creating something like this. Until then, as far as I'm concerned, you really have no right to tell us whether or not he's done any harm, because you literally know jack shit about the effort that was put into C&C:Online and the lengths he has gone to in order to waste our time dealing with his drama. I know you think you're a pretty laid back dudebro and that you believe we should all just chill and let your personal Jesus get away with his horrible shit, but the truth is that you're just completely uninformed about the truth of this situation, and it's making you look more than a little dumb.

 

For those interested in the truth (ie. a version of events based on objectivity and facts, rather than built around ego-building and childish insults): the verdict on Green_ZERO's permanent ban from C&C:Online is publically available. Green_ZERO was not initially banned from C&C:Online, because we decided to start over with a clean slate. We at Revora didn't know any old Gamespy players, so that was the best thing for us to do.

Now, due to past transgressions during Gamereplays events on Gamespy (for which he was banned), the Gamereplays staff rightly decided to maintain this ban. Now, in response to this, rather than behave himself, Green_ZERO decided to disrupt the event. He didn't try to participate - all he wanted to do was ruin our event, the first held on our server, that we had worked our asses off to present in time for Gamespy's shutdown. 

 

After this we decided that the Gamereplays staff had been right - this guy was a nuisance and did exactly what he was expected to do and had done for a long time: deliberately waste everyone's time and ruin the organisers' work. We didn't ban him from the server, though. Disrupting one event, while very annoying, is not enough to warrant any permanent ban. After this, Green_ZERO wanted to hold an event of his own on our server, which we allowed, because as it turns out, we are not horrible people keeping down the little guy, as he likes to claim in his terrible videos. As you can tell from that thread, ToxicShock gave him permission (if a little hesitantly due to his recent ruining of our first event), and he was met with another barrage of personal insults. That's a trend you should have picked up on at this point, by the way: Green_ZERO is the person behaving like a potty-mouthed idiot, flaming us, defaming us - Gamereplays isn't, and neither are we. In fact, we have deliberately held back material in which Green_ZERO exposes himself for the attention whore he really is. Why? Because slandering people is completely immature. But let's be a little immature for a moment. Did you know that we have very recently reached out to him and made a proposal to him for getting his account back for a 3-month period, to see if he can go that long without causing trouble, and that he has flatly rejected the offer and began insulting our spokesperson? Does that sound like a guy who 'just wants to play' to you? It's very clear that he's now just using all of this as a way to gain viewers and status on his Youtube channel. In other words, he's tricking people into hating us and giving him their accounts so he can continue causing the problems that are giving him views. He doesn't want the drama to end, because then he'd have nothing to talk about. 

 

Anyway, in order to prevent him from ruining a later event, he was temporarily barred from accessing C&C:Online, for the duration of the event. He decided to sidestep the temporary exclusion, created a ton of duplicate accounts (sidestepping a ban and creating duplicate accounts are very clearly against the rules), and, again, disrupted the event. Maybe if he'd behaved himself during this event, tried to kindly participate and actually show that participation is all he was after (as he loves to claim in his videos), we would have shown leniency. But he did exactly what we expected him to do.

 

You have to remember, we started out as a neutral party. Green_ZERO had no reason at all to behave the way he did to us. We didn't know him, we didn't particularly care, but we recognized ToxicShock's expectation of him ruining our first events, so we decided it would be smart to try and prevent that. We didn't just believe ToxicShock on his word - we were shown evidence of past behavior and made the call based on these facts. Green_ZERO then decided to behave exactly the way we were told he might, confirming the reports we were given, and since then has shown absolutely zero signs of good behavior and has instead upped his effort to interrupt our server activities into what we consider a truly insane level. It's completely pathological. He slanders us on his Youtube channel, he creates dozens of 'memes' insulting us, he clogs our server with account requests, and flat-out refuses and mocks any attempts at a solution, and on top of that, we now get to deal with him lying to kids and convincing them to do his dirty work for him. And you're still here, implying he's really not that bad of a guy and that we really ought to just forgive and forget?

 

I know none of this is going to change your mind on the matter, because at this point, Green_ZERO's minions sound exactly like dime-a-dozen conspiracy theorists: you like the idea of being 'in the know', fighting the power, in this case Gamereplays and, hilariously, Revora. The idea of Green_ZERO being some sort of heroic freedom fighter whose facts are suppressed by the Man is much more appealing than admitting to yourself that you're really just following some toxic idiot that needlessly continues stale, years-old drama, wastes the time of the people bringing you the best way of playing your game online, and deliberately gets people banned from playing for the sake of his own ego. Good job.

This isn't about being the ultimate adult and ending this whole silly situation over coconut tea and a few unbans.  This is about delivering a punishment to someone who not only broke the rules once, or, twice, or three times, or four times... we could write a novel about how many rules Zero has broken.  And some of it is just nasty, destructive stuff that we shouldn't ignore.  Even after everything he did, I offered him a chance.  A very reasonable chance by any definition.  And he turned it down.  So, why do you support unbaning Zero exactly?  We tried.  He doesn't want it.

If he did, he would have accepted our proposal, as I've outlined in my post. It's not about playing for him. He wants to be known, and he will continue to disrupt events and flaunt his toxic behavior on the server even if we do unban him. He's made this perfectly clear to us. No matter what we do, Green_ZERO is only out to spite us and further damage our reputation. Nothing else. 

 

Granola's ban, however, is being discussed privately with him.

Lets use an analogy to help you better see from a different perspective..

 

Incapaisa is a member of a luxury golf club..

 

The golf club has effectively BANNED Incapaisa from their premises, removed his ID (erased gz account) and has barred IncaPaisa from ever playing again..

 

But Incapaisa with some clever mask or technology still plays GOLF when ever he wants..comes and go from the luxury gold place

 

And when the golf clubs holds any event Incapaisa stills plays with someone else's credentials...

 

 

 

 

Maybe looking at it from another perspective can help you guys see the damage..
