Kinda, also can destroy buildings if too much of them is around.
Also destroys your FPS too

Off:
Also framedrop - I have a pretty old build (I got this PC in 2010, bought a GPU about 4 years ago, that's the only newer stuff in there). Recently I maxxed the RAM out to 16GB (1333 mhz, DDR3). The game looks now weird. It runs at 60 fps at least, but looks like every 2nd frame is missing. Smooth, but not
Is too much memory for the game a thing?

If it is the Allied one, guess its terrain may be similar to the RA3 mission Forever Sets the Sun, which US is at Kenji's position, PF is in Shirada's, EA in the top right corner of the map, and central region is patrolled by the Paradox Engine and Super Thors. Chrono Prison, Paladins, X-0s may also appears in the challenge...
As for Chinese one, Iron Dragons, permanent irradiation for most Chinese vehicles, large amounts of Tech Irradiators, Cyborg Vanguards might be included...

I already made a China challenge. I'd like to see how well it competes if it's a china challenge

One question: the Scorpions in Insomnia is obviously not led by Rashidi/Malver, so which one should we consider them as, the mind-controlled one or the PC/HQ that uses their arsenal?
It's safe to assume they're using their arsenal... Mind-control seems highly questionable there since there are no beacons that threatens the allies' landing force. Mind-control links are also limited so Yuri can't simple pull them towards the shore for defense without breaking the beacon's range (if there is any).

I also prefer the equipment-borrowing explanation. Wonder if Speeder will explain their source to figure out the problem thoroughly, just like the "Chinese" in Brothers in Arms.

Chinese arsenals in Brothers in Arms are likely "borrowed" Arsenal from Power Hunger from the start. Pretty much everything in the soviets so far is "Thanks to Chinese Tech" or "from China" thing.
But after destroying the Amplifier, some Chinese forces did join forces to you, so in the later mission, we can assume some chinese forces are joining the assault to Moscow.

Speaking of brothers in arms, have demo trucks been nerfed hard or something? I've been going AFK on that mission to see how well the AI does on its own (they make good progress, but ultimately can't break the main base due to rebuilding of defences) and one strategy that they use is iron curtaining demo trucks. However, the demo trucks cannot destroy war factories, or even barracks for that matter (they both stay at a sliver of health.) even though they really should. Is the AI making some bad mismicro or is there a stealthnerf going on?

It depends on the direction of the impact of the Demolition Truck. The War Factory is basically a rectangle, if the Demolition Truck detonates at the shorter side of the rectangle, the War Factory takes less damage than in the case of the detonation happening at the longer side. The damage taken by the explosion depends on the size of the structure, hence a Barracks surviving the explosion from the Demo Truck, but an Ore Refinery doesn't, despite the former has the fewer hitpoints, but the latter is bigger in size == more damage taken.

So I replayed Power Hunger, and I notice these two people.
According to the wikia, it's Yunru's parents and Yunru appeared here before you discover her (leaving with a Stallion if you do).
Any idea what their fate is after Power Hunger?
Also, Confenderation AI is drunk here, they didn't build a base :/

I found those before, i even had it glitch out with yunru still there emping my units, the stallion must have been hit earlier by something (probably random LC units) and got spooked causing the script to fail. All 3 are invulnerable. LC arsonists are also very lazy, and will only burn down a single building and then stand still forever, they don't aggro more buildings for some reason, don't know if this got fixed. But back to the demo trucks, isn't that a bizarrely finicky requirement to succeed in destroying a wf or barracks? Shouldn't they be buffed to destroy buildings more reliably? Can their damage against tech buildings also be increased? A demo truck deserves to destroy a pandora hub if you are to ask me. Honestly, i feel like only the conyard should survive a demo truck right next to it.

Demo Trucks are already a hugely powerful skill-based, high-reward unit.
Timing-wise, if you can kill enemy T2 tech while queueing up T3, you have a huge tech advantage over the enemy. That's basically gg in a lot of cases. I don't think Soviets need more mid-late game power.
Demos are ok where they are atm.

Any particular reason the Opus prototype was removed from Lizard Brain?

No, it still exists actually, located at the top of American outpost.

So...did anyone manage to beat the new WoC challenge ? If yes, how it should be done ? PF ? Foehn factions and signal inhibitors ?

Foehn Inhibitor or Centy (with Iron Curtain perhaps) does the job best. Human co-commander recommended for mental-AI or hard difficulty.
Dragging your mcv a little bit to the rear would help with the defensive, as you'll only need to defend a narrow chokepoint in that case (the enemy hardly ever attacks from the rear).
