Eagle Fly Free : Apparently you can only infiltrate once before they sell their tesla reactor


I could infiltrate twice. Which made me sad afterwards because second spy would have been more handy against red base but w/e.

Missions did became beatable by casuals on 3.3 easy. I am stunned. I never thought I'd ever see this after all the dismissal during my 3.0 beta days.

Is there a bug with the latest allied act 2 mission ? Because, after removing gehenna platforms and sam sites with chrono leggionaires, the spaceship like thing (of which I don't remember its name right now) immediately gets attacked by dybbuk interceptors and destroyed even before aegis cruisers take position. Am I missing something ?

..if it gets attacked with Dybbuk-Interceptors it means you didn't destroy all of the Gehenna Platforms.

Yes naturally but, there are five or six revealed islands at the beginning of the game and I am sure that I destroyed every single epsilon unit on them. So I suppose that there are more of them on unrevealed terrain ?

Yes, you need to scout terrain nearby the initially revealed islands. The mission tells you when all Gehennas are gone.

Managed to beat Allied Mission 6, my original stuck point. It was close, but phew, what a tight mission. I still think that both time limits are a little too close. They seem to be a lot, like one hour, right? But the fact of the matter is that the clock is twice as fast in RA2, in regular campaign speed, so it's actually only 30 minutes. But still managed to beat it, by massing Stormchildren.

 

And then the renderer barfed when the next mission loaded (only displayed about half of the screen, not the half with the menus) and I had to wrestle with the PC trying to shut down the game. :V

I finished Godsend, the ending caught me off guard slightly (I wanted to logic that a hugeass air fortress would be enough to alert the enemy but given how Recharger played out I wasn't entirely sure), but creeping around the city until there was nothing left was fun. 

 

The last shield command is basically throwing as much units as you can at it since the Prism Towers can only kill one unit every few seconds.

Got through Aliied Mission 7 on Easy, but the first part of Allied Mission 8 is giving me a hard time. That Tesla Cruiser just obliterated me.

Use a Siege Cadre to aggro the Tesla Cruser away from the walls. On easy, there is also a bunker to help you with that.

That's what I did. But it overpowered me. But likely was my fault, as I had no GGIs left because Terror Drones are evil.

On missions with sneaky dogs and/or terror drones, use "S" when you see of them comming. Your forces will stop moving and will (usually) target the closest thing nearby

What's up with Epsilon 02: Accelerant? In the (admittedly over a year old) Developer Playthrough the cannon emplacements only seemed to shoot at mind controlled Allied units or garrisoned buildings, but now playing on Normal difficulty they are also shooting at my Psi Corps Troopers, Conscripts and Flak Troopers, which makes the mission really, really weird and difficult. Are we now supposed to just tank the hits?

You said the proper word: seemed - mindcontrolling units to aggro away the defenses' firing were a major point of the mission since it's introduction.

No, they shouldn't fire at the Adepts. But they were recently given a custom armor which it seems map warhead modifications don't respect.

I thought that might be the idea, but I'm watching the video right now and there are several points where the first and second cannons just plain don't shoot at anything even though there are plenty of targets in range.

The original campaign was updated, and in the process, made a bit easier, wasn't it?

Excellent! I had a surprising amount of fun, playing Foehn, yesterday, and I've always loved Red Alert 2's campaign, so... Fun times ahead!
