Btw, changes to the campaign page: http://mentalomega.c...p?page=campaign

- Machinehead is indeed before Obsidian Sands

- Coop missions are now in chronological order (this was actually there for months, just mentioning)

- Covert Ops and Foehn Origins missions part.

- It seems Foehn Origins are 4 missions now, instead of 3. Thought it would be more than 4 tho...

Need help with the challenges, the computer is too dumb...

What I've beaten: The revolution, Timekiller, the Apocalypse challenge (all on Easy mind you, with Immune Oil Derricks and 50K start) could've beaten the Last Bastion's challenge if I wasn't as tired as I am.

P.S: I love the Iron Dragon...

We got a wiki for that.

PS. You love the Iron Dragon? In the future China challenge the Dragon likes you! :D

Development moves pretty slowly. It took a year and a half to get 18 missions out for 3.3, plus there were some storyline shifts with most of the factions, so maybe that required some additional work. I'm glad that there's at least one more Foehn mission though.

"Vision of a Distant Future" used to be "Remnant of a Distant Future" then "Vision..." then to what it is now. I kinda though there was going to be five missions with Vision and Remnant as separate ones, but I guess not.

Well, it took how many years to get to 3.0? I remember waiting for it after 2.0, so I'm okay with the current development speed. At least we get something every half year. And really, such a large project would take this long even with a professional development team (which I think MentalMeisters are pretty much are at this point).

It was actually never "Vision...". The window apparently wasn't big enough to put "Vision of the Distant Future"

Well, while it did help in some way, it didn't help me not to get roasted by arsonists (devilish unit, on par with the Sycle), they are quite a pain to deal with, though an obscene amount of robots should be able to deal with them...
Hope to get a multiplayer to help me with it. :D
*The LB challenge isn't hard, it's just tedious in some cases, probably need to shift from China to Russia in order to get proper Artillery (though non of the artilleries feels as satisfying as the Inferno/Nuke Cannons, Pacifier, siege tanks or the best, Ground Control 2's Human Artillery)...
P.S: oh dear, I love it use it (nothing can breach a defense with them+Sentinels), I'm pretty sure it's going to be a pain, but I would take the challenge!

Okay, Speeder annonced 9 single players missions for 3.3.3. Looking at the campaign screens from the main site, I think we'll have Foehn Origins up to Tainted Empire (logic), Obstinate (logic too), and Act Two missions until each faction has its two final missions left for a big finale in one later update.

The 7 single player missions announcement was before Speeder said that there will be more Foehn Origin missions than expected, isn't it? Or there was another announcement since then?

'Obstinate' and 'Tainted Empire' was added since then. So 9.

And a single Mental Omega mission takes quite a long time to be created, sometimes even months, so stop complaining. This is not slow development and you have no idea how much time and effort it takes to make any of this, especially the Ares updates and tests. Also, we're not in a hurry, there are no deadlines, and as stated many times before -  we're doing all of this in our free time, voluntarily.

I was just taking notes and speculating about the missions likely to be part of the next update according to your latest annoncement and the previews released, by no I means was I complaining about updating rates, and I apologize for giving that impression. Besides, you're right, I have no idea about how much work is needed for each mission, except 'a lot', so far from me the idea of complaining.

Yeah, hope I didn't give that impression either, because I was arguing that I'm okay with the development time.

It's actually a sore subject for me as well, considering how the community of the game series we are working on at my job are also full of people screaming how the next game is "taking forever". It became so toxic, that it's affecting PR as a whole, and every single post on Facebook gets a "why are you not working on the sequel instead???" reply. It's annoying.

I was one of those who waited anxiously for updates on this mod, I think it's one of the best mods (if not the best) I've ever played, but TBH, I also stated to wonder if the mod was discontinued at some point.
I'm glad to see it didn't :)

I wasn't trying to imply anything negative either, when I said "development moves pretty slowly". I'm aware that this is a project made during the team's free time. I apologise if I came off as entitled.

I'm obviously not the first one to say that I'm totally willing to wait however long it takes for the Mentalmeisters to get things done. They're people too, and as I see it the worst thing would be for them to burn themselves out trying to satisfy an impatient community. This is one of the best mods out there, and it's well worth the wait.

Thanks team.

Same here; take as long as you need!

I hope the haters aren't getting you down too much.  Personally, I love the work you're doing on Fusion and it's brought new life to the older games for me.  I'm willing to wait as long as necessary for the next game to be as epic as it can be.  The Steam forums are terrible for anyone's mental state, and I've personally cut down on Facebook to once every two days -- the site is living proof that people will be horrible online even without the veil of anonymity.

Yes, but that doesn't mean they're time traveling. Yuri won WW3, and the conflict between it and Foehn happen years later in the future.

Which means, there will not be Allied or Soviet forces in Foehn campaign aside from abandoned technologies and infrastructures of a bygone age.

I do think not "technically" a few years later but probably just "after" yuri attain victory (via mind control), as the Act II is reaching the end point.

Anyways back again from the hype, I just heard that the loading and saving will finally return. I'm glad that you folks figure out the problem itself.

Also, I do wonder if there will be other missions that occur in other countries I presume.

I guess that's what covert ops are for, aside from filling gaps in the story.

Is it just me or is the Allied Mission Relentless, really just relentlessly insane?

After capturing the Pacific Front outpost, I end up getting rushed and getting eaten alive by Scorpion Cell troops. Especially their dang Masterminds and Epilson adepts and (presumably) Epsilon Elites taking control of my soldiers. It's insane how fast things can go south in a mission when you're not prepared. Is there any way to finish the first part without getting overrun? I can't even begin to deal with this. Totally not used to a massive rush like this.......holy cow......that was madness to say the least.......

Which difficulty did you play Relentless in?

Well, for me, I played in Easy. I failed the first few tries too, but then I organized my forces into numbered teams and then send them rushing into the outpost, with the tanky units and infantries in front and Prism Tanks behind.

I've managed to clear the initial enemies without much problems, and then I immediately reorganized my forces into a defense position. It worked for me.

Then I played the mission casually afterwards when my MCV got teleported.
