Libra is actually the one that stands out for me. Seems to be the only one with an expressive voice. The others are like typical military officers-like voices and tones...

I'm impressed with MO's vox acting because it somehow surpasses that of a triple A title Game.

Is it possible to create different AI types?
I mean like in OpenRA (RA 1). Maybe:-defensive/turtle (more base defending units, quicker response to base attack, and more power/base defenses)
-aggressive/offensive (lot of base units as offensive forces, like now, but less base guarding units)
-normal (a balanced one)
-specialist (attacks less frequently, but with more variety within the attacks - more diverse attack forces than now)
Sorry, I just don't really like this "endless line of the same (bunch of brutes/conscripsts for example) enemy forces"-type games, e.g. 2v6, or even 3v5 it's nearly impossible (for me) to win a match with (almost only) ground units against brutal enemies and/or mental AI enabled . I'm forced to use a lot of air units to support, but it will be monotone after some time. And NO, I won't do "speedruns" (I don't really like playing multiplayer, probably because of this), I'd like to enjoy my time while killing and grinding the enemies
Ohh, and creating new naval taskforces? I'd like to see some naval siege units (guarded by other naval units) attacking my/AI's bases, it would bring some diversity in the battles.
And another question: do the elite units have firepower buffs, like originally?
Thanks for the answers.... instead of this it's very good to read 2-3 pages about anime 'n' shit

i might just be a noob, but i usualy find that AI is pretty dug in, at most times, with defences all around their bases, with units to spare. i have experienced "rushes", or a dedication to a specific strategy or unit and run with it. but for the most part, they seem to fill out many AI personalities at once. that may or may not be true, but im sure the devs could always make the AI focus a specific style of warfare.
i want to see turtle, normal, aggresive/rusher, spam/steamroll, guerilla, eco or a specialist, if this were to be implemented.
also, can we have an AI personality called AIstar, that specializes in guaranteed victory and youtube uploads?
p.s. sorry for bringing up anime, but the weebs man.

Back to the question, I'll start with the simple one : Yes they gain firepower buff on Elite.
As far as AI go, I'm not sure if it's hard coded but I've never seen anyone doing more than 3 types (Easy/Normal/Brutal). The AI also has some limitations on what it can do.

Alstar is not as god-tier as you imagine him to be. He's good yea, but he suffered losses as well. Just check some of his youtube uploads about his duel with the chinese.

Considering he dubbed himself the 'Worst MO Player', maybe you should make a meme of the opposite

I didnt dub myself 'Worst Mo Player". That was given to me by several of 3.0 players because i wasnt any good and i mained Scorpion Cell aka worst faction in game. Do your research.
Also im not a god tier player. Its 50% bad decisions and 50% of luck that turns bad decisions by soe fucking reason on my favor.

I wonder if a standalone AI could be made for the game, which is not an integral part of it, but runs as a separate program, and plays the game as if it was a client in a multiplayer game. If such a thing is possible, then what it could do is practically limitless.

As far as I can see, it's technically possible to inject customized AI triggers into map files prior to game launch. That's exactly how syringe.exe works.
However this could be a challenge to actually create the triggers, and may override any AI trigger which already exists on the map

Not everyone is as brave as you. Cowards like me prefer a non-stressful, mostly predictable scenario where I'm able to put my units and structures symmetrically with the map just to make it look good.
I'm really bad at pvp because I would always have adrenaline rush, resulting in sweaty palms, shivering fingers and inability to take action once panicked.
I far prefer co-op with other players/AI or just against AI rather than against other players.

Anyways my comment was about the idea of improving ai behavior vía external program
It just sounds like a very hard thing to do.

Colours. I suggest new colours. (Yes, us Canadians spell 'colors' as 'colours')
- Hot Pink
- Tan
- Black
- Silver
- Ultra Violet (Humans can't even see it! Okay, this last one is a joke)

Black actually doesn't work well as a color, usually because of how it tends to blend in on the minimap, and remaps look kinda... bad with pure black.

For example, Tech Heavy Reinforcement Pad, grants 1 free monster tank every few minutes, Tech Infantry Reinforcement drops basic infantry, Tech Specialist Reinforcement drops spies or upper tier infantry.
I like the idea of map-based objectives like in Heroes of the Storm. It's more interesting than passive buffs like the Tech Machine Shop, because the benefits of taking the Reinforcement Pad is more noticeable.
You could also use this to add variety to KOTH. Instead of an insta-win psychic beacons, there's a pad that drops a Super Apocalypse only if a player holds it for five minutes.

HAHAHAHAHA, big no on the Tech Heavy Reinforcement Pad thing. One of a kind reinforcement pad is enough, and thats T1 tank drops.
This is MO, not Heroes of the storm where you only have to defend one objective, you're basically saying " whoever gets to these three oil derricks first wins.
That's.... interesting
