Oh yes. And even more fun is the fact that the AI does not seem to target these duplicators. Same thing can happen with Brutes, or units that break free from mind control but their owner has been defeated - they become neutral.

Another bug I have noticed isn't a game bug but rather a problem with map design. On the 8-player map "World Rejector" there are small islands at each corner of the map with a bunch of tech buildings. At the very top of both top corners are oil derricks, which can't be captured with an engineer.

I was playing Mental Omega Covert Mission Archetype yesterday, and while playing it I noticed when my cursor was hovering over objects and characters, their name-description won't pop up anymore. In addition, structures, defenses, and unit names as well as prices don't show up in the build/enlist menu either.

 

Is this a bug? If so, is it fixable? Am I missing a file of some sort?

Sometimes Morales doesn't kill the driver of vehicles he can de-pilot (e.ga quillin or half-track will be shooting him, and he has to destroy it, other times he will de-pilot it)

Do you have Tooltips enabled?

I checked just now, and sure enough...tool tips wasn't enabled. 

The unit names and prices returned! Thank you Speeder!

 

I had gotten my PC back from repairs last week, and reinstalled Mental Omega- I didn't know the tooltips would be unchecked.

I found an amusing bug: if a Foehn player gets defeated while his Duplicator is devouring an enemy, the duplicator that will spawn will become neutral. That duplicator would then seek out any nearby infantry of other players, which it would then devour them into another duplicator. This gets crazy in infantry only mode where clumps of infantry would get turned into neutral duplicators, which would cause a grey goo-like scenario.

Free defensive lines! 
I usually kill them with gyrochoppers/rocketeers/Fin/Malver after I don't need them in infantry only (the soldiers can get promotions by killing them - free elites! :D ).

Armor-specific verses doesn't work on weapon whose Damage < 0 (which means it heals instead of hurts)

For example:

 

Versus.nmin=200%
Versus.mind=50%

 

 

This is very likely an Ares engine bug, please refer to AlexB.

Run into one issue. Maybe its one-time bug, but today ive tried to launch the campaign map, but it... threw me in the menu without any visible error. Didnt even re-opened the client itself. Antivirus didnt said anything, as far as i noticed. Same happens with skirmish. Yeasturday this didnt happened.
Tried loading the backup version from archive, didnt helped - same issue.

Any ideas how to fix this? Can be this the Windows updates issue, or just temporary thing untill PC reload? Ill edit the post with corresponding text, if it was temporarily.

Little bug with Malver's deploy quotes, he uses the same as when selected.

That's true. Is it possible for Ares to fix it?

Healing weapons with Damage<0 don't respect and never respected Verses. This certainly could be changed with a bit of work and a new warhead setting.

On allied mission 2, I beat the mission on mental difficulty without using the spy to shutdown power. 

 

So why is it that if I lose the spy before I reclaim the base, I lose the mission? Why is it a critical unit. I can complete the entire mission without it.

It's not a bug as much as it's a campaign feedback. It does bring up a good point though. The tesla coil wall isn't really a be all end all defense even with the limited arsenal, and the spy does nothing more than cutting the power for 45 seconds. It would be much more plausible if the coil was iron curtained and cutting the power would permanently cut off that curtain.... or if cutting the power would destroy the coils instantly (and even then, making people fail because of it is still pushing it)

How about when the spy infiltrates the power plant, the tesla coils detonate automatically and the base is turned over to you?
