Soviet in RA 3 are clowns.

That's one way of looking at it, though that's probably what's killing it for me a bit.  This is the powerhouse faction, there should be more of a feel of intimidation and fear that the Kirov and Apoc give that most of their land forces don't really convey.  Granted, most of my complaint is mostly towards their structures and tanks (taking a second look), and probably a bit of nostalgia towards the RA/RA2 soviets intimidating powerhouse feel (barring RA2's leadership).

 

On circles and cel-shading, I can't help but remember people complaining on Tiberium Sun Rising's page for their use of selection circles.

 

Edit: As an aside, I would love to see MOre of this naval combat expansion we're starting to see, though.

To be honest, the Soviets in RA2 are kinda clowns too, at least when it comes to the FMVs. :V

As of the current version there are 11 player colors. I suggest that a new color should be added so there are 12 colors which matches the number of sub-factions.

 

The new color, I say, should be a shade of turquoise, to match with the Foehn who uses the darker teal.

Loved the Soviets in RA3 mostly because they were the main factor that time around, and the fact that they had attack bears.

Looking forward to these changes. Will also force me to change strategies too :p but still! Can't wait.

 

Also, will you also include the changelog with the patch, just like how TI comes with a changelog as well? That'd be handy to have.

Just a second, is that changelog updated, again? I think I need a changelog for that changelog, at least sort of diff result.

 

 

BTW, how will the patch be applied? By downloading some other 500mb archive? Since the patch will be available right tomorrow, I'm quite curious about it.

The patch will not come tommorow after all, as we've found some additional issues with the new content. It will be a bunch of files to download, manually or through the MO client, that will be around 25MB.

Good to know the patch will be available for manual download. But how is it going to work if the last MO archive is expand99 already, does the game support expand100 and beyond?
