So everyone likes "mechs"(and thing that was mine idea) ...THEN...Why dont make Robot General a mech General with that great new buildings that Pandaelose came up and make all of robots units "MECHS"!!!it whould be a great idea if Pandaelose could make a new weapon(Gauss from Mechwarrior)its like a supersonic missile that creats an electric twisted like line at the missiles way i've got a photo here it is:
it could work realy well and it could used as his tank weapon if you place a tank to him

Δικια σου εεε αμα σου γα θα σου πω εγω... Pendaelose i would be really happy if you could finish the mech (The code i mean) The idea of a gauss is good also i made one myself using particle cannon... Made it fire a continous bolt and stop and then regarge and fire again a continoous beam... It works perfectly but i think that making a new beam should be a lot of troublemaking...

I know of the mechwarrior toys quite well... the gauss riffle is actualy a bullet (in the projectile sense) that is accelerated on a magnetic rail. it comes out at rediculous speeds and tears through the target. is the same thing as a railgun. the trail effect is supposed to be the ionized atmosphere in the bullet's path.
MECH did a really good job of coding up a gaussriffle, railgun, whatever. the thing is I don't want Robot to become "USA Mechwarroir General". a couple big robots is great. mixed with some small robots and a variety of simple drones it makes a strong, well rounded army with a unique feel. the mechs just help bring out the robot feeling. I don't want them to become the only thing in the arsnal. I still want to use the UCAVs if Viator makes them. and I still want to have a handful of non-drone units, just not to many. its all about balance really. if the new mechs are just too much they might have to get nerfed (i'm making a point, not threatening)
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

ok i just had an idea cause everyone liked mech idea...and as for mechwaqrrior i'm playing ritgh this moment so i knoe too about his toys ok?????i just didnt know hot to explain them with WORDS!!!

Don't take it to heart... I'm just an extream geek who worries about tech details on fictional weapons.

i like everything about MECH's gauss cannons but that mech has Boat Loads of armor, and with lots of armor comes slow speed, with slow speed comes a mig, artillery, raptor to jack that mech up, even if it has SAMs on it
I agree. it looks most cool, a little aubsurd in the damage deptment... but so is a Berta. I'm just more worrie dabout balancing than coolness factor. Cool wears off fast if it ruins the game.

Yes when it will be ready viator ?????The twin heavy gauss will be fired from those giant holes next to his head and the xpulse laser from the hands... When it is ready pls make it as i requested it to be... And put it for download... THANKS ALOT (to you for all those info and for the code and to viator for this GREAT model) Viator when it will be completely ready ???

With what program can you open those images ??? Only with gmax or 3ds max ? Cause i downloaded them and they not appear with any program i have ! Matador post a screen of the color ! Thanks for skinning it !!! Youre very kind thanks again...whow lots of squares on it

Excuse me ??? I didn't undrstand what you are saying "fit a smallextension to op dds files " What do you mean with that ? When you say you 're not ready what do you mean ? You dont know enough to start skinning ??? Photoshop ? You dont have something more.... proffessional cause photoshop cant do as much as other programs ! But if you can handle it with photoshop there is no problem !!! Viator you cant skin it on your own ? Or you guys gonna work it together ???im not ready with skinning i use photoshop cs2 for it

Just calm a litle bit and leave Viator to do his work .i dont thing that ther's a reason to hurry!!!if you push him too much he may make a mistake and that will hold him back from the total work with result to late more then usuall!!!Its something that i dont thing so but you never know...Just have some patience .παπαραWhen you say you 're not ready what do you mean ? I will agree with matador s@m, the answer was posted for s@m and i know that matador is very good at skinning The animation is great viator ! What do you think M.E.C.H. isn't it very beautifull ???S@m i know enough of skinning to skin

Yeah Viator has tons of talent i've not seen any other finish something like that in that little time !!! I want to thank him again for this ! I LOVE this model its my favorite one ! And i think that many gonna like it.... Pendaelose also like it !!! I also want to thank matador for the skinning !!! And Pendaelose for coding ! Well matador im sure youre gonna make very good work with this !
