Now if the Democrats were to say "Gas prices will go up. But we are putting that money towards alternative fuels!" How many people do you think would vote democrat?
My Guess not too many.

Thats because the people are stupid too. I'd still vote for it.

Though, if you look at the hard issues, the foundation behind the democrats is much better, they stick up for the needs of the people and get alot more work similar to what you just described. And while they may raise the taxes TO GET A BALANCE BUDGET people can't look past the 3% tax raise and the republicans feed on that.

Anyhow, at that level there are alot of things that are ireconsilable in US politics, but I have my own firm feeling for strong reasons.

Well those of us under heavy tax, bills, lawyer fees, and everything else in life WHILE trying to save up enough money to afford normal teenager things
can't stand even the slightest tax raise. I'd probably lose my house. And right now. I kinda enjoy being warm. Being winter and all up here.

you forget that when the economy is strong pay goes up more with it. Clitton years were great for the little man. I was increadibly poor at that time and I know what it was like to live below the poverty line and eat beans all the time.

We got 19% Sales Tax and they plan to rise some more stuff, that's redicoulus.
Bush ran down the Country with stupid plans. Could you tell me any good things he did? And by the way the worst thing was the war in Iraq if you look at the financal part

The US does hae lower taxes than most of Europe, but unlike most of Europe the US refuses to consider any solutions that could be considered socialist. For example, good medical insurance for the family costs atleast 400$ a month, and we still have high co-pays with that. And if you can't afford insurance many hospitals will refuse to treat you. We also have some of the highest medicine costs in the world. You can buy pharmacuticals from canida for less than a quarter what they cost in the US.

Over in england we have what they call "NHS" national health service or something.
But basicly its the goverment putting some fo teh tax to actuly hospital treatment for everyone again peaple have the option to have privert treatment tho.
This is one of the reasons are tax is always high and gets higher >.< lol

I work for the county. I doubt they'd increase my pay much.
And my mom is a Substitute. They almost never get pay increases.
And I hate beans for a reason. Although I still love Top Ramen Soup.

more seriously discussing humor, main stream US humor can't be better. If I watch an hour of "commedy" I just want to cry. Its depressing to know humans have reached such an abysmal low and yet we sustain the problem by catering to the lowest common social denominator.

So it was already pretty awesome to me.
Oh and I agree Little Briton is without a doubt the WORST show ever.

little britian used to be funny, but they went to far, with men dressed as old ladies pissing on the floor, and being sick on indian kids and stuff.
Rowan Actinson is hilarious, type him in on youtube. that is british comedy. Blackadder was amazing. Mr bean was slightly lame and weird, but funny. Jonny English is a funny film. You guys have scrubs, which is hilarious. Mock the Week on BBC2 is the funniest program in the world. i am in fits of laughter all the way through. that is trye british comedy. you should allfind it hilarious. you tube it.

I find alot of humor into days world is very lame its just not funny even alot of english humor. It all has just got so lame or sick or twisted that they end up picking on peaple/races.

1 comandy show idk what apprently sprayed tom cruse with water from a joke microphone while interviewing him about a movie he had done.
I don't see why that would be funny its just some water and besides what funny about laughing at someone else expense when there being polite and nice to you.

just an exsample of how lame humor in the world has become.

95% of this thred is all military and political based, all threads on revora and other forums will ALWAYS have a small amont of posts that will sneak off topic from time to time. Not like we are making a habit of it.
