.. how is this stuff about humour related to military discussions..

military/political. about 8 posts ago englands exuberant taxes were justified by the exsistance of english humor. I have to agree, the bad humor is so bad it deservs the extra taxes, but the best humor, such as monty python, is clearly government funded as the best way to use that tax money

I think the Genver Kvention should be made a bit bigger it should also include bad comedy stuff, it's really bad over here, and we should also add soaps and some other stuff to get a nice and "clan" program

I feel like bringing this up because it is military related.
I have been going to see some recruiters recently.
(Army looks like the thing for me)
but while I was talking to the army recruiter he said to me
"If you want I can sign you up and get you into medic training"
And I laughed because I hadn't even mentioned medics or anything of that sort. So I figured I must look like the medic type.

lol i remeber suggesting like 8 months ago to merge ROTR and Contra, i was young and naive back then i have learnt my lessons.

BTW why do they call the F 15 the greatest fighter produced for its time? i heard it was because none of them were lost in conflicts.

but in retrospect, the US never really had a challenge from a modern air force in a conflict, they always outnumbered the enemy 10 to 1.

MiG 29 is the greatest fighter produced in my opinion, it just so cool.

Well records show last time i was looking around that the f14 was the worlds best long range interceptor at its time... This is before they started converting them to be bombers aswell.

It can't be from a biased sorce, ie: it can't be america saying it because of course they would think there aircrafts are the best.
Just like russia and russians should not be saying therse are, it should be someone that has no agender as to countrys.

Personly tho i always loved the f14, mig 29, su37, f22. and i have high hopes for the f35, that looks like it will pawn al other aircrafts :-D

Guys you start mixing everything up
The F-15 is an Air Supurity Fighter, and in the role not comparable to the Mig-29
The F-16 is the Counter Part for the Mig-29
the F-15 counterpart is more the Su-35 Series
The F-14 is more like the F-15 again
And by the way the F-35 is more like an F-16 replacement then replacing the F-15, the F-22 is the F-15 replacement

The F15 is actuly a multirole, it has bombing capablitys and is used more in that role than anything else, F14 is the only true Air Supiroity fighter but now its been upgraded with bombing capablitys.
There is really NO aircrafts now made purely for one role anymore, as its cheeper to design a multirole fighter/bomber.

And btw the f15 "ACTIVE" that nasa designed and uses to test different tech is like uber if it was used in the airforce it would out proform alot of aircrafts.

Red flag is an all america and a small selection of other countrys like england french and germans. all taking part in joint wargames.

Its NOT testing all aircrafts (main ones) from each country and its based in america and so of course all info they release will be biased.
There not going to say "Our f15 sucks and the cheeper mig29s pawn it"
It just would not happen, just like a russian pilot or aircraft manufactor wont say there aircrafts suck and american owns it.

No one will ever know the true best fighter cos there is never going to be an independtent test of every aircraft done, nore dose countrys ever releave every single detail of there aircrafts.

there both tools, tools used by humans, its how you use your tool that determines the victor.

im saying they said it was the best, but i think its bullshit. there all basically copies of each other.

This is true, tools that are used but also depending on how good the tool you use is depends on how much an handicap your enermy has.
But we wont ever really know witch aircrafts are the best, of course alot of peaple even if they wont admite it are biased to some extent (including you pend ) Creator specialy (no offence)

in the end its no point trying cos were all humans and are capable of the same thing, evrything we build will be in response to another person creation, in the end there all the same thing.

the F-15 E Strike Eagle is in my opinion a different Plane

I never said f15 is my plane of choise only saying what its for and my opinion on it, I would go with the f35 JSF or the f22.
