but the bomb truck looks like a state of the art technology which takes the goverement of where ever gla comes from a few million bucks to develop. but the prob is gla is a third world army/ bunch of people with cheap but effective guns. an oil tanker would be more lower tech then the bomb truck, and it fits the gla nicely, i think.

using an oil tanker also adds to a new way of attackin the enemy, because even if the oil tanker is destoryed from far away, the burning oil would be a pain in the arse for enemies, unlike the bomb truck. once destoryed, that's it. radiation and other upgrades are useful, but if units have immunity to them, then the bomb truck would be rendered useless.

high explosive upgrade can bu used for the oil tanker also, because the whole concept of the oil tanker is to have an oil tank, filled to the brim with oil and several C4 and other explosives attached to it. another thing, gla is in the middle east, and middle east happens to have alot of oil, so might as well us that fact and bring it into the units in remix.

in another words, the concept of the oil tanker would make the suicide unit more useful unlike the original bomb truck. also, the radiation upgrade is only meant for demo gen, and the other gen loses the fun of using a suicide vehicle.

the bomb trucks are fine, there isn't any problem with it. but i think the bomb truck can be better and be used more strategically if it is changed into an oil tanker.

oh yah, another thing. should we give remix3 a storyline? like a story we can relate the new technologies too? maybe along the line of global terrorism and distrust between china and usa? just wondering...

How can u say radiation is not as effective as fire?
Both kill infantry good and both do hurt vehicle's only to a small degree, Only 1 side has radiation protection armor and thats nuke general he has always been the only 1 with that armor, but what difference would it make if you make it fire?
Flame general has flame protection upgrade so all it means 1 general out of all the generals would have "increased" protection from the damage.

Radiation covers an area like flames but radiation lasts longer making it far more effective and still just as strategic.
Whats wrong with the model?
The trucks looks like a truck just a basic truck, nothing high tech looking about it and all country's have trucks and basic vehicle's so imo the model is fine, what difference would a different model make to the game play?

As for the bomb trucks dieing before it gets to its target well you have a few options.
1) plan your attack run better so it makes it in.
2) don't use suicide units if you can't get them to hit there targets.
3) don't complain cos it will still leave an AoE field about just like your oil tanker would just a different form.

Kinda sounds to me like your not really a suicide/demo gen fan if you was you would know how to get the bomb trucks in without problems, I mean they have been in the game since generals/zh was out so you should of had enough time to work out there pros and cons. :alien:

As for a storyline i don't see the need there is not going to be a campain/story mode from what i remember pend saying, this is a skirmish and multi player mod.

Developed in partnership with the U.S. Air Force as part of our CBU-105 Sensor Fuzed Weapon (SFW) air-to-surface munition, BLU-108 is the only U.S.-manufactured smart submunition in production today. Combat proven in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) as part of SFW, BLU-108 is designed to accurately detect and defeat multiple moving or stationary threat targets. Battlefield Damage Assessment (BDA) reports from OIF indicate excellent BLU-108 wartime performance against various armored threats.

The BLU-108 Sensor Fuzed submunition contains four smart Skeet warheads equipped with dual-mode passive infrared and active laser sensors for target detection and engagement. Each Skeet warhead features built-in redundant self-destruct logic modes, leaving battlefields clean of unexploded warheads that endanger the lives of innocent civilians.

BLU-108 is capable of integration into a number of weapon systems as well as several foreign dispense systems, deep strike and future cruise missiles.

here is one. How about a nuclear mine launcher for the China nuke general.

Not needed but also would be crazy overpowered.
Mine's are already evil enough but to make a launcher that could spam an area with mines not only normal mines but nuke mines.

that's y u use one soldier to scout ahead. He hits one mine and the whole field would go lol. I can see that backfiring now. You fill your base with mini-nuke mines, one soldier makes it in and your base is replaced by a blinding light lol.

Well if they are small enough, the minefields have a lower denity, and they dont replace the base defense mines i think they would work.

Why would you make a mine that would blow up its friend next to it?
If that was the case then "NO ONE" with common sense would bother using the mines. You waste cash on building the units and the time to set the mines only for it to become redundant or waste of time and effort because of 1 unit?

They would be worth something if they had a lower density than the normal mines and a much smaller explosion.
Think putting 5 more powerful mines into the area that there used to be 20 mines or what ever the normal density for the target area of a mobile mine launcher would be.

it may work if the mines replace some nuke superweapon. the mines will be placed not to close to each other, so when it explodes, it doesn't mess around with the other mines.

robo should have a change in their mech models. make it more "mech". like in original game with mechs. can't remember which game that was.

Personally i don't see the need nor do i want nuke mines, and what are you talking about mech models should be what?
The mech models are nice, specially iron man and fefnir :rolleyes:

Mech warrior mechs pend moved away from, we used to have 2 other models for the anti infantry and anti armor mechs but pend chose to make his own since this is not a mod based around the mech warrior timeline.
Fafnir is only Mech still In game thats from mech warrior (>:rolleyes: fafnir)
Not sure if any of them are going be changed, the saying is tho (if it ain't broke don't fix) Any new models or polishing will be made after the rest of the general are completed.

Its not about looking cool its about them doing there job.
Weapons are not designed to be cool there designed to kill, looks would be the last thing you worry about.

I would rather a butt ugly mech that can kill hardcore and is reliable and strong over a mech that looks cool but just don't have the staying power as the ugly one, you catch my meaning?
AK47s are not the most attractive assault rifle made but they can be fired after so much punishment, I watched a video of the top 10 rated rifles of all time, Rated on innovation, combat effectiveness, handling, service length and accuracy.
The AK47 was number 1 and one of the experts said "what can you do to an ak47 to make it stop firing? not a whole lot maybe drive over it with a tank." Another said "the ak you can bury it in sand you can bury it in mud you can abuse it to the degree where its covered in rust and it will still work, that weapons is going to keep you alive"

So my point stands if u had to choose a gun what would you choose out of the AK47 and the Famas for example (since u like cool looking weapons) I know what i would choose, i choose the more reliable and rifle with years of service to prove how awesome it is. AK47 all the way man ;) lol

I still would love an M16 or XM8 tho lol

I played only few times, but I am already in love with this mod ;)
My favorite gen is same as in original ZH - Superweapons.I think that ICBM should be moved to Rank 3 and i have some reasons why:
-she is SuperWeapon gen, but is same with every other gens
-ICBM is technically "lowest" from her superweapon
-it is not strong superweapon
-it doesn't have any global upgrades

well but here are no ranks^^ only escalation upgradesXD the ICBM is already at Tech 2 so no problem wit hthat ithink, tech 1 would be too evil
