can China flame have a unit called the King Dragon? It is something like an overlord, but it shots fireballs that burns in green flame. the fireball shot will be like gattling, so many fireballs will come out at once. it'll like shoot for 10 sec, reloads for 10 sec and continues, so it'll be balanced.

and China Tank should have a research facility meant for tanks. this facility will research the hybrid between two or more types of tanks. for example, players can choose to mix lightning with flame, so they'll have a tank that have lighting shots that burns. and perhapes battle master and lighting, and they'll have battlemaster that shoots out shells that will shock and power down units. it is something like an upgrade but just that they'll be able to build the original for a cheaper price, and the new generation for a much higher price tag.

and can china tanks be build 5 at a time? for units like battlemaster, not super or powerful/long range units. players will have to upgrade this upgrade called industrial expansion or something like that, can they'll be giving the choice to build 5 at a time. but of course, the price will be times 5, to make if balanced.

and can the all chinese have an attack heli? so they'll have the helix, and another heli that can be built in the airfield. this heli will be close to the americans version, just that the chinese heli is cheaper and weaker, but has much better attack. it find it a hassel to defend my base with helix.



1. With all of flame Generals new toys he is getting in his Thermite tech tree, this would be un-needed. However, it is quite a creative idea. The immolators can shoot fire shells, but only maximum 3 at a time. Would be cool to see a fireball spitting tank. And would fit flame gen nicely.


2. I like the idea of the hybrid tank general. However, this idea has been planned (and posssibley reserved) for Laser general. Almost exactly what you described. If you read in the main forum, back a page or so, in a topic about Laser Gens changes for 3.0, you will see it is almost exactly what your describing. Because he will have a "Physics Lab", where you can mix any 6 techs to create hybrid combo tanks. you can choose any 3 out of the 6. You can choose from Ion, Plasma, Particle, Microwave and Satalite and Advanced Lasers. If you want, you can get a heavy plasma tank, with a particle add-on, or visa versa. Its gonna rock :wink_new:


3. This Idea has also been suggested and planned. And maybe, it might happen in a later version. For Warmasters and gattling tanks and troop crawlers.


4. For balance reasons, some sides can't have them. China tank owns the ground, and has heavy anti air units. he doesn't need an attack heli. Same with infantry general. FLame gen is slightly different. He is more of a balanced all rounder. Thats why he has an attack heli. Nuke gen is powerful. in most aspects. He has brilliant attack planes and ground forces. No need for a nuke attack chopper.

only one question to Pends , will you include all AI for all generals in your next alpha release of remix 3?
i hope u not only bring GLA ingame on next release, but also make them all AI supported.

While its an ALPHA I probably will not be including full AI support. Once I finish the first draft of the code for every faction and have the basic armies complete I'll be in the BETA stages and I'll be able to start working on AI. There will probably be just one last Alpha before I go Beta.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Beside why waste time working on ai when pend already plans to redo the AI for cyber gen as well.

I can sympathize with them... however re-scripting the AI every single time I make a change to the Code is aubsurd. I'm only 1 person and I need to minimize the amount of work if I'm ever going to finish it. I'm in the last 30% for the code, so it won't be forever until I can actualy start working on AI... but until then the fine players will have to wait. Perhaps if they started an online pettition (petition, hehe, thats a joke) to get me hired at EA I'd have more time to work on such things.

Heh... EA dosen't really care for ZH anymore. I'm not saying getting it all done, but maybe switch generals from Robotics to a less... annoying general until its done. Like with every release, switching the supported AI general.

Switching ai to another general is still increased work for pend, you can't simply move the ai code over it would need to be completely re did or heavily edited to use the right units and structures and such.
As i said there is no point, play PvP if it gets boring fast, the ai will get done given some more time.

i agree with phoenix. the best way is to play with other players on hamachi! then you won't be bored with the same old AI. i play with my friends, so to me, what matter most is the units, not the AI.

but then some people would rather play with AI, may not have much of a connection themselves so cannot play online along with many many other reasons why AI is important in a Mod, not everyone has friends to play with, or people they know interested in the game

i for one would play AI only, for the reason my connection would only just DL the mod, let alone allow me to go online and play any game longer than 3 minutes with my friends before it crashes, and thats if i looked ofr randoms online to play with since i dont know anyone who likes generals

But to play this mod online with other people, you need Hamachi. That way every one on the network you can play with and there are lots of people here that would play.

Well you don't need hamachi really, you could all use direct connect if you "wanted" to give your ip out lol.

Altho hamachi is the best option and most easy way to get a game.

AI will be added... but, again, I have to point out that it will be added only after all factions are coded.

Ad the flame tower from Red alert 1, In the way it trows fireballs it is cool :thumbsupsmiley:

Personally i don't think flame gen needs anything else given what he has got and maybe getting later on.

Pend did added the orca's from the tiberium universe, so why not the flame tower from red alert 1?
The normal flame defence is pretty weak, its range is far to short and infantry can hit it from afar.
