I played a bit with some tanks and building parts and this came out.


I dunno guy, this model just doesn't do it for me...

I've already made a base defense for it. that I'm happy with. Once I've coded it into the game i'll post screenies of all the versions

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

the turret dose look nice but to be honest the nuke drums on side i think look stupid imo and the actuly turret is justa tank turret with some alterations, but in all it could be nice in game.
but it is lacking some

The one I've made has alot in common with the other china defense turrets. Its got the same post as a the Flak Turret, but instead of guns and ammo it has the shock rod and the nuke drum. It look pretty good. Very light and fast looking, much like the other turrets in the same serries.

i never really liked the nuke drum it looks takie imo.
A nuke sign would be fine on a standard drum but a bright yellow one with a nuke sign is just weird/out of place.

O and for the nuke unfantry could they not get rifle upgrades with lunchers that could fire mini nuke grenades capable or could u not give them somethign liek a flashbang it would work in teh same way apart from it wont be a flash it will be a can that releases radiation. Could clear garrisoned units.

In real life, true, but the standard is pretty set within the game...

intersting... I've already removed the nuke bullets from the red gaurd. I'll consider the flash bang type weapon.



Also, i've been working on the heavy tank today...

I had at one point made something very similar... differnt missile, less extra, but I scrapped it because it just didn't work in game. I was going to be Flame china's AA defense, but I kept the gattlings

My 2 cents worth here:

Gredinus I love both models, I dont think they are what Contra mod is going for but in any other mod for nuke china they would fit in perfectly.

Do keep up the great work (especially since you put up fully skinned models and just bare wire brush or greyscale). =)

New units for Tank general...

Field Command Tank. Gives propoganda and frenzy bonuses to near by units. It is otherwise un-armed.



SRM-Tank. (Short Range Missile) Anti-Tank&Anti-Infantry missiles.


The base defnese lightning gun.



By the end of the weekend I should have screenies for: LRM-Tank, Heavy Field Command Tank, Heavy Missile Tank, Frenzy Towers, SRM & LRM base defenses, Heavy lightning base defense.

The Heavy Missile Tank



It will have a toggle buttons to change between LRM Artillery and Hive-Missile AA.

LRM Artilery is prett strieght forward. HE-Warheads fired a pretty good range. Very efective, its only weakness being long min range.

Hive-Missile AA will fire 2 large misiles at the enemy aircraft. Once the missiles close in enough, they explode into a burst of smaller Mini-Missiles that engulf the plane.

Wow cool model, it remindes me of an Russia SAM vehicle, but still some nice stuff, can't wait for Remix

it remind me of V3 misile luncer from Red Alert 2, it would rock on the battlefield
