Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I finished the Siege Spider. Its armed with 6 long range, highly acurate, anti-tank missles. Its range and damage also makes it suitable for attacking bases. It kills most tanks in 2-4 missles, and excells against enemy artillery, killing most with 1 hit.

Its weakness is a lack of close range weapons and low armor.

The Siege Spider:


Firing its missles. They home on vehichles, making it quite deadly to enemy tanks at long range.

nice work, looks awsome, but since it only has ANTI-TANK missiles, cant you still include the long range laser, for buildings but make it laess damaging?

humm i guess u have missed what pend said, it is a segie mech and it is already effective at attacking bases.
and damn it sign up for the forums :p
i hate these un knowns haha

pend: i have not got a mod to play since my computer brke give me the new alpha lol..., please..... when its ready.... :blink:

hmm.....i think that the missile racks on the siege spider look cartoonish and childish. It looks like a baby has been given a crayon and just coloured them in. please make them look more like missile launchers, and not paper cut outs, like you couls at least have the missiles showing, instead of big red buttons.

yer whos cares if it looks crap zomm'd in aslong as it is funcational and loks ok zoomed out

Vik_RaM is right. It does not look good. And the problemm is not in the number of polies. Skin is very crude. You can improove its look a lot by drawing better skin only.

2 of us cant beat one cybernetic general. It just rapes everything. I think robots should be vulnerable to radiation and emp shockwaves. I mean emp is electro magnetic pulse that shocks electric stuff like robots?

How would radiation hurt a peace of equipment/mechine?
They are just electrical parts and metal ratiation would not do nothing to it so it makes sence for it to not be effected by that.
EMP i am actuly pretty sure that some of the units are effected by emp (but am not sure of it as not played in a while) But some units have EMP shielding. You know the stuff that absorbs the emp :p
The cybergen is hard but not impossable plain your stratagy better remember best defence is an offence.
And if there is 2 of u then get 1 off u to build defences and small defence force and other to build an attack force, don't give the enemy time to think.

What? Inf can Pwn him. Just Build some good defences backed up by artillery. Easy. Seriously. If any robot walks into the circle thingy around tanks banshee it gets disabled instantly.

That depends, what version are you playing? the new AI is MUCH tougher than any of the old AI. I still have yet to make easier versions for single player... thats the mission for the next few days. But the HARD robot AI is done. It does whup up on 2 players.

Yeah, EMP does full stun on robots, and they take ECM damage from both vehichle and missle ECM. And yes, there is no reason at all for them to take Chem, Radiation, or neutron damage.

I think ProZak may have found where I keep my WIP copies online. I have to upload them to play test rounds with firiends. Just planning a defense alone isn't nearly enough to hold up against the new AI... its not like the old AI at all.

Guest, sorry, the new AI isn't that easy. Remix3 isn't Contra. The AI uses ALOT more artillery and air support now, as well as ranks un believably fast, bypasses techtree research, and gets extra powers. the HARD AI is specificly designed for large multi-player games and kills single players in only a couple minutes.

ok so are you going to reskin the spider mechs, now i have creators attention to it. i think that they look awsome,(the legs and stuff) and definatly 2000% should be in the game, but the skin should look better.
also, can you post some pics of all the generals super units, like the Ra tank, and teh efreet tank.
but awsome mods dude, this is better that project raptor and shockwave,(ive played them both sine the beginning) and i will be sticking to this. for a long time.

They're not hidden at all, just not advertised at all.

The new Robot AI is a trip. 2 out of 3 games, it won't build a tomahawk storm. Then ocasionaly it will build 2-4 of them. This last test AI round I pitted a 3vs3 all AI match. of the 6 players, only 2 built any tomahawk storms... as expected. One AI usualy had 3-5, and at one point had 7 tomahawk storms... ... then there was THE FREAK.... Blue... build 17 Tomahawk storms... I couldn't beleive it. It must have been a glitch in the AI.. it just wouldn't stop building them... it even kept its base powered to keep up. 17!!!

I'm not going to change it either... .... .... ....

Its taken 30+ test games for that to happen... I like the fact that it can. most of the time players only have to worry about the AI using all its normal unfair advantages against the player... but theres always that chance it will flip out and superweapon Farm.
