Oh, that surply transfer stuff sounds like a pain in the ass!
And Phoenix, I'll make maps for Remix, but at the moment my comp is angry at me not allowing me anything and secondly school is there too, I'll try to fix my comp as soon as possible, but there is still school, which is more important

ok i think i got the same bug(or something) i got a while ago
u know the 1 with the F44 destroying other planes behind it
i had 12 F44, 1 Arura,and 1 raptor attacking a war factory
1 of the F44 was shot down and a few others damaged(i dont think the arura even droped itz bomb)
AND YES I AM VERY VERY VERY(VERY VERY VERY) SURE THERE WASNT ANY AA'S OR ANYTHING THAT COULD OF SHOT DOWN THE F44

well, its hard to say... where you playing against Robot USA? And what DID he have in the area... any Rangers? If you were blowing up buildings there'd atleast be those.

I've never had the bug you are talking about, so its kinda tough to narrow down what's causing it.




A side note. I tried my first full multi-player round tonight... 1 insane or 2 hards (old normal)... we tried a few times.... it mismatched every round at about 60 seconds into the game- give or take. every round... Has anyone else tested 2.05 to see if this is true across the board? I'm wondering if it was an issue with his install... maby an old file somewhere... or it could have been an issue with the AI in general... though the AI hasn't changed at all for a few months.

I have some suspicions and things I'd like to trouble shoot, but I need testers willing to burn away 2-3 hours just running AI vs AI and watching for whats causing the mismatch. (it might be the fact I removed the capture upgrade)

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I mean with the Rapiers, because there the planes have that certain possibility to shot down their friends

None on the Remix 3.0 and/or Contra 5.00 team have GLA as their first choice or at least play them regularly?

If such is the case, don't you feel you need 1-2 GLA fans testing GLA before any final release?
I am not attempting to hijack some Alpha version of any of those mods- but my choice is GLA and I've been playing them for most of my C&C:ZH game time and I'd hate to see them get more messed up than Contra 4.00. By this I don't mean any offense, seriously.

But if you can't find anyone to test GLA I can gladly spend most of my time at home testing them. The fact that I can easily organize 2 Vs. 2 on my LAN will help find out any problems and that way I can even test them against other armies in PvP.

Anyway, it doesn't have to be me. I simply see no other GLA enthusiasts around, while I know two including myself, and we're both able to meet and play together.

Another way is to keep in mind how GLA play or which aspects of the GLA you should look into evolving.. I could tell you some ways to successfully play GLA and you can base any GLA changes on that style or something.. And I'm not talking spamming Arms Dealers all over the place, anyone can do that.

Again, if I offended anyone's army, playstyle, lifestyle, ideas, hard work or anything with this post, it was not my intention.

I not had that problem with the f44's ever!!!
And i pretty sure you can't be sure there is no aa around, Cyber gen most of his units and all his infantry can shot at air.

O pend the manticor turret for the infantry gen does not seem to fire anything, there target takes damage but there is no effect showing its fireing, only that it turns and aims at the target.

Violence: Pen hasn't even really started on modding the GLA part yet... There have been lots of cool ideas posted, and Pen has a pretty comprrehensive remake of them planned.

Edit: Pen, China Tank Gen inf. cannot capture buildings now... was that intended, or a side effect?

None on the Remix 3.0 and/or Contra 5.00 team have GLA as their first choice or at least play them regularly?

The "team" for Remix3 is me.... my lonesome. Rosco has given me many models. Gredinus has given a few. Drake has done some art and a map... and a few guys have been testing for me... but I htink they are getting the gravy end of the deal there. But no one is around helping with code or design I have no partner helping me. And I'm pretty sure Creator is in the same position.

Some of the testers are GLA players... but they arn't full modders, so while they have good suggestions it doesn't always see the light of day.

that quote was almost a year old I think. Sense then I've completely changed my aproach to modding. Instead of just adding as I get ideas (which led to GLA getting the short end of the stick) I now start one general and focus on that one general until they are ready, and only when they are well balanced and unique do I move on to the next. I've got some specific plans for GLA already, but I won't be moving one to the next general until I'm fully convinced that each general is up to standard.

a side effect. I'm cleaning it up. thats what alpha tests are for...

I wanted to make a map this week end, couldn't do because no time, and anyways nobody said anything about the map which is already in remix!

I am sure I saw a GLA thread somewhere but I can't seem to locate it now. I could always just post here since it's generic suggestions and ideas concerning the mod if it's no problem.

About logging in.. Uhmm! You know.. This option to reply without having to log in is so convenient!!.. And I don't care about post counts and all that. If there's some specific reason you want me to be logged in, please let me know.

it was on a hill but my planes was still above it
here is what i can do

my planes had 2 come up from a hill but then it is flat

i was not playing againest Robot USA
i am sure there wasnt any AAs around
even if there was 1 AA that i missed do u think it could shoot down 1 F44 damage a F22 and badly damage 4-5 other F44s in like 5 seconds?

Ok was playing us airforce gen today got 2 or 3 ideas and such.

1) The airforce general can build drones on there firebases right? and the airforce gens defence relys heavly on infantry. So how about this, change the MG one that repairs its parent vehical/unit to this idea.

Medic drone, will heal your infantry like a medic humvee does. Also it would clean up any poison and radiation left from attacks and let it still repair the building, Or move the repair building to another drone to compensate.

could the infantry for airforce get biohazards suits as standard?

2) Where is the sniper? o.O

3) the b1 has no voice sounds so u can not tell when u given it an order, give them just tha auora bomber sounds for now unless u have better. (note i mean the actil sounds when they say stuff like "reporting" and when they anwser you to when u given an attack.) other than that it does have engin sounds and such.

4) Spector power is out of date and weak now, Why use a general power when u can put pilots in your AC150s and send them into the enermy base after using b52s and auora bombers to take out aa?
The AC150's do a great job and with hero level because of the pilots they empty there rounds fast while doing good damage meaning there only over the aa zone for a short time.

My idea is simple, give the spector by default full time it spends in the air boost its health by about 5%, and every following general point will add a new spector.
ie: lvl 1 = 1 spector
lvl 2 = 2 spectors
lvl 3 = 3 spectors

Let them come in just that little bit faster aswell, as enough aa along the way can still blow them outta the sky making them even less usful.

Or change it to a cobra strike (u will need a cobra model lol)
Basicly cobras fly in off screen can NOT be controlled and will stay over the enermys base using there machine gun, rockets and missiles untill they are shot down. (like the cyber generals drone gen power)
lvl1 = 1 cobra
lvl2 = 3 cobras
lvl3 = 5 cobras

The number incress's like this as they are helos they will die fast if there is some aa about if u missed one.
This is my personal fav opsion remove teh spector for this lol.

5) Comanche gen power on the side bar to use it ther einfo says "free raptures" needs changing to "free comanches" lol

I already told u tiker no, i never have had a problem with f44's they always hit there target and get back alive, even in heavy areas full of AA they can normaly get in and out because of there stealth capablitys, only when they have radars and such do they get seen.

But no i never had my own f44 blow them selfs or others up.
