You can double post, you just can't accidently double post. Accidently as in clicking the post button twice. Watch.

EDIT- I clicked the button several times, but I only posted once.

However, I can still make a new post.

EDIT Again- Never mind... double posting is impossible. Maybe there's a time limit? :)

IDK, like I said (it might have been in the manual) if you double post the second post is automatically added to the end of the first post. I'll do it right now.

This is what the second post says.

You can't make a double post when you edit a post, you can make one by creating a new post and then clicking the button, then losing your connection at 30 or so percent, and then pressing back, the forums memory keeps your original post, then press the button again, the forum forgot that you posted before, but still logged your post. But yes if you don't lose connection and then you try to click the button again, the forum will have logged you, and then you can't post again for 30 seconds.

So basically if you make one post then make another one in the next 30 secnods it gets added to the end of the first post? And does it let you post again after 30 seconds?

I have an idea. How about we change the camera to make it really articulate, so you can see almost the netire map at a time, or zoom in on a unit really far. Also, VG should make it so you can follow a unit.

those are very good...there is a thing where u can change camara to look at a unit i think...but following one would be much better, also on zooming...i dont think being able to see the whole map would be good...if you make a map and set the camara angel out really far u get this black stuff where u cant see anything, i think you should be able to zoom out much further though

Doesn't raising the camera too much cause lag though cuz you can see more stuff?

Also, I've seen on some mods that raised the camera too much and the land disappears around the edges, like there is a pre-set limit to how much of the land you can see at one time regardless of camera height.

Yes it would link, I wish I could make it like Ground Control where you can pitch and turn the camera, but I can't. As for the Following of units, that's not possible to recreate to my knowledge.

Well EA didn't develope Ground Control, and I'm not sure that the Sage Engine could handle it, because with Ground Control not only can you see the whole map, but you can also see the sky, Artillery will arc up and you can see them in they sky, Infantry even leave footprints and make footstep sounds when they run. Water reflects, there are fish, birds, oh and infantry are displayed on all structures when garrisoned, like on the rubble, you know I might reinstall it so I can show you guys, I just have to find my serial number .

yeah gc seriously rocks... played it myself a while ago, but i gave up in some stupid desert mission.

u gotta think about one thing if u wanna change the camera standart setup (or woteva that's called)
doing that will fuck up intros.

LOL jacking Opals stuff are we, anywho. It doesn't mess up intros ince you can't doing anything during them, since those are scripted with the right camera angle.

WTF
u can download it online.

anyway it does mess up intros, i've seen it myself.
there's some shitty mod i dunno the name, but it changes the camera pitch.
now if i play a mission on this mod eg usa 1 where these bikes come over this cliff, the camera has a higher pitch, in the intro as well

Oh I thought you ment GC, well yeah but in GC you can change it ingame at any time, which would be cool in Gen, but can't be done like that, you have to do it in an INI before you start the game up.
