that's what i suggested as well @ hunter, but it found little interest

btw, shockwave for example has almost doubled the available upgrades, so why can't pr do it???

in the sage engine everything has a limet
upgrades units eveythging
so the only way shockwave could get more upgrades is by hacking the engine which is illeagal

units aren't upgrades, stuff like bunker busters and flash bangs are upgrades

explain what is limited !
upgrades made on buildings ? if yes then the limit is near 100......

I think it was around 144, odd number to use.

Anyway, as far as I know you have to hack the engine to change that, which is illegal and not going to happen. I have no idea whether or not there is a unit limit.

Yup

course 12 is the number of sides the game starts with. Think that has anything to do with it?

If you have the same upgrade on multiple sides, like Bunker Busters for all 3 USA gens and regular, does that count as 1 upgrade or 4?

for the usa i think this would be a really cool addition...ok on the stratagy center for all usa generals add an upgrade butten that advances reserch and tech cost being about 4000$, it would make the different stratagies more effective and pronounced, like bombardment having a 40% attack bonus -10% def -10% range or whatever it would take to balance it out, like search and destroy could almost turn normal units into seige, but they would be slower, weaker, and much less attack power, hold the line a 30% defence bonus -20% speed, then a 4th butten added for full balance and stability 5% range 5% speed 5% attack 5% defence
