If Yuri and his henchmen (so to speak) have an ore refinery, should they also have a slave miner later in the tech tree? Or make it a country special?

Its not that special, but it does make yuri more unique than a refinery. Unless you intend to do something whacky with it I don't see any reason it should be a late gamer, and as a side special, I'd probably choose the other side...

Countries no longer have just a single unit, or structure for their special. So the Slave Miner would not be the single special unit or structure for a country.

Why does everyone jump at the chance to replace the Slave Miner? People said Yuri was uber powerful, the Slave Miner is simply a weakness and a cool one at that. Protecting an import part of your war effort isnt too much to ask.

And its not like you can't kill a miner anyway. If you can build near a slaver, its potentially tougher than the miner, so not the weakness everyone bitches about...

slave miner...weakness?! slave miner is a strength in every respect!
1. portable, a constant flow of cash
2.engineers can repair it when deployed

i can only see 1 weakness being:
virus pwnage, no more slaves...
I have returned to Revora Forums after half a year of absence. I have changed a lot since then.

its a refinery building, you can't click repair it, build next to it and slaves carry jack all

its only real advantages are

* no rapeage by terror drones
* can build 2 at same time e.g. building, unit

Also slaves can be raped by radiation.

The Slaves dont need to carry much as they are right next to the refinary anyway. Its like some uber fast mobile oil derrick. :)

Only if it could be equally and universally implemented upon all factions. Otherwise if you were a faction that only had a country specific naval based unit on a waterless map you'd be screwed.

Like -10% Airplane cost, but +10% vehicles cost?
In that case you should have an AT plane/helicopter for Korea, so they don't get overpowered by a tank rush, since they cant make as many tanks as other nations.

^_^ Because Slave Miner is too unique and hard to balance. :p
I don`t like it,because them have too many armor in YR :p and can nearly overcome a Rhino Tank!!!
:( U will see how many armors it have when it was drived on your war factory or refinery!

If South Korea can construct airplanes faster and cheaper,Soviet Union have stronger tanks,American have free paratroopers,China have very cheap infantry,France have stronger base defenses and super weapons and cuba have very terrible suicide combat system,how could u say they`re not balanced. :blink:

I'm trying to make it more realistic. If a country spends the majority of its resources on one thing, then it will lack in other areas. No? And it will add more of a strategy to the game as well.
