This topic is now bigger than Questions!

I just played with Gil-Galad.....and he owns!

I bulit nothing but orchards and statues to get him out, and once he did, he destroyed entire armies by himself

I never lost him

I was bored and I found out that I am 182th in number of posts

adummy was right by me, 164th

Hey Celeglin, r u going to add any new units to isengard, mordor, or gondor in the future.

Dunno... I've done a Grima model and skin for another project, and he's a fun hero... I have no desire to do anything new with Mordor (bar getting a toggle for the Nazgul). It would be nice to add Denethor to Gondor. But yeah, no real unit stuff.

Plus the the Lone Wolf comes out real soon which will add new units to other factions

Well, I finally changed the graphics to medium, played the campaign, and summoned the elves......

i play on very low too. My graphics card is only 64 MB so it lags if i play too long. :thumbsupsmiley:

Yes, but you will have to unlock him as you do with this version. I won't put him in the official version because he was dead at the time of the mod.

ModDB is holding their Mod of the Year contest. I know I don't have a chance at winning in any category (there are sooo many amazing mods out there), but it would be nice to get a few votes. http://mods.moddb.co...elven-alliance/

Got to use the "Royal Guards" for the first time today and I have to say, those are some pretty slick textures and models.

Were they done by you, Celeglin? If so, will they be the models/textures used in your new, enhanced Rohan?

One thing that I was kind of disapointed with (this is a nitpick) was that Theoden and Aragorn didn't get a more detailed skin (though I did notice several positive differances on Aragron). Theoden's colouring and patterning are alright, but compared to Hama and Gambling (who both look and behave excelently) he seems less-than-regal.

Merry's Rohan clothing also seems a bit bright (the sheild on his back was nonetheless a brillant addition) and doesn't remind me overmuch of his film garb.

I managed to get Gil-galad working and found myself shouting: "Ed' i'ear ar' elenea, Ereinion Gil-galad!

He was a joy to have in my army, and I think I'll be playing with him from now on out. Lle ume quel!
