Edit #2: for the Noldorin Warrior you've put (as a caption) that the render features both light- and heavy-armoured versions. I can pick out the small differences between the skins, but just so I know which one is the heavy- and which the light-armoured?
The ones with more armour (hip armour, chainmail sleeves) and more gold trim are the heavy armoured ones.
I also noticed that the Tower Hills Guards have swords by their hips. That's just for show, isn't it? No weapon toggling?
It'll work like the Ithilien Rangers, in that they'll use their swords by default when in close combat.
Interesting. Tower Hills Guards sound awesome, and thanks, I can tell the difference between the Noldorin Warriors now.
Very nice work on Gildor Celeglin; a bardiche, I NEVER saw that coming. I was expecting a spear or a staff, since you said you were gonna do that. Meh, still good...
Looks like a halberd... though maybe someone who knows more about weapons will have a better name.
To me it looks like a cross between them. Until now I had no idea what a 'bardiche' was, but thanks to Wikipedia...anyway, a bardiche is supposed to have a short handle, whereas Celeglin's has a long one; and then again a halberd is supposed to have a spear head at it's end (and the optional pick head on the opposite side of the axe), but Celeglin's doesn't. It's confusing, but still, very nice work.
