...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...
...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...
...Stand, Men of the West! Stand and wait! This is the hour of doom... ~ Gandalf the White, The Return of the King

Lothlorien has three bases and a mf plot right next to each. There isnt room for any more without making the map bigger.
Dimrill Dales (4P) has one next to each base, including the 2 expansion camps plus another two in the centre by the mirrormere which provide a tactical advantage due to the cliff that split up the map.
BTW, am hoping to start and finish another map by the end of half term, and when I do I'll post a teaser shot of DD and the new one.
And does no-one else want to help make maps? Theres a new map list on the map thread.

Remember that a faction should be able to function well without using any minifaction units. That's our goal, and it can be a bit of a pain.
Hey Nertea, like you said about a faction being able to funtion well without minifaction units, well when it comes to Mirkwood, well they have no cavalry whatsoever, while the Mordor and Gondor have Trolls and Knights, while Mirkwood have none. But they could have something like Hunter Companies, I dunno, but I guess it's a bit late now seeing that Mirkwood is complete

I think it's a good idea - I mean, all peasants had some sort of fork-spears-whatever-they're-called. I like it.

That's true, though in reality a spear would do more damage to a horse than a sword. Most spears (in real life) wouldn't really be anti-cavalry anyway, as they're just way too short. Pikes are the true anti-cavalry, leaving spears + shieldwalls as anti-infantry. Of course, I'm not implying anything about the mod here.
I'm not saying that they should be, just with the addition of the pitchfork (if there is gonna be one) would give them a very small bonus against cavalry.I'm all for the pitchfork/rake idea, but I don't think it would realy make them anti cavalry.
