I have a question about the neutral structures and creatures, what are the differences between the snow, hill, and stone troll?

Probably the only difference will be that they are on different maps.

Most likely (gamewise). In terms of Tolkien lore, well think about it: Snow Trolls live in snowy areas, Hill Trolls come from hilly or mountainous areas, and Stone Trolls turn to stone when the sun shines upon them. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes, if not, someone with a little more Tolkien lore than me correct me.

Well by the looks of most sigs, they are just quotes from the books or films.

If your talking about the Elven Alliance ones, go to the Elven Alliance forums and go to the Avatar/Sig thread and ask Cel to make you one. Though be aware he is internet less atm.

To create a sig, it is in your control panel. Go to the top of this page, click on "My Controls" which underneath the Help/Search/Members bit. Then go to "Edit Signature" on the left.

They will look different i am sure of that. In the movie, the three stone trolls look kinda like cave trolls, while hill trolls are the ones that mordor uses. Snow troll would i assume have white skin, and smaller

At the moment he is a bit swamped with all his work, so I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon. Anyway, are the Snow Trolls and Stone Trolls gonna be part of this mod? I don't rememeber them being mentioned anywhere.

Nice, three varieties of trolls. ;) And yeah, I know that Cel's internet is down, but did you see all of those demands in the last page of the Avatar Gallery thread? Anyway, let's get off the subject. And do you always have to correct me adummy? ;)

The three trolls have been on the Unit list as long as I have followed the mod. Snow trolls are obviously white, hill trolls are very ugly and stone trolls have a slight shade of green. So they do not look the same.

Hi, I don't post much, but I vist a bit. I know this is off topic but since you guys have probablly all read the books. Could you tell me who would be stronger, the Witch King or a Barlog. I've gone back and forth with this and I can't make up my mind. I mean Gandalf the White was in doubt as to whether or not he could beat the WK, but then again Gandalf the Grey killed a Barlog. But then a Barlog killed Glorfidel who the Witch King always ran away from. Gandalf is stonger then Glorfindel right? Anyways, I could go back and forth all day, could you guys help me out. Thanks. Peace ;)

Hi, this sort of question isnt exactly mod related so I think you would get a better response in the LOTR/Off-Topic section of the Third Age forums.

IMO it is a difficult question. I think a Balrog is strongest. Witchking vs Gandalf vs Glorfindel is more difficult.

Gandalf the Grey > Third Age Glorf > Balrog = First Age Glorf > Witch-King

That's how it is IMO.

id agree with zimoo on that. i dont think the witch-king ran away thinking "O crap, this elf is going to kill me". more of a "my army's ass is getting kicked, i should leave now".

and Olorin, i correct you because i know you ;) :mad2: . and i dont think someone should correct you, its our kind of thing :mad2: ;)

Well that makes sense adummy. ;) ;) But I agree with you on that statement. :mad2: About the whole who's stronger thing, Gandalf should be the strongest. He was Maiar, and if he had shown his full strength against the Witch-King (he was forbidden to oppose Evil openly) I reckon he would've kicked Witchy's ass.
