What are the Uruk Engineers again?

We don't know. The mod team so far have restrained themselves from telling.

I was just lookingg at the units for erebor, and I wanted to clarify something
(non heros that is)
Dwarven Captain
Dwarven Warriors
Dwarven Archers
Tarag Udrig
Khazad Guard
Ravens
Well the first three speak for themselves, and tarag is close to the elven word tarog (meaning troll) so I would think troll killer? and khazad gaurd sounds like ...you guessed it, guards units...........but ravens? I KNOW you don't mean the birds...so what are they really? Some sort of cavalry?

:) ...........you have to be kidding me.. :) ...BIRDS!!!???!! How do you recruit and use BIRDS!?? in the heat of an epic battle?? Does this mean that Isengard gets crebain and Gondor gets seagulls???!!?? For attack units??!!? please tell me you're wrong..ravens?..birds?? that is the most stupid (no offense to who thought it up) thing I've ever heard..maybe cavalry is a little...dumb, to say the least, but it beats the crap out of attack birds..

Modor grunt: RUN!! Alfred Hitchcock's movie has come true!!

Dwarf: Fly my minions of the air [in deep scottish accent]
.......... ;) I'm sorry, that's really dumb. :D

No, that was pretty funny. But they're not attack units as far as I know[not very far] but they are probably going to be scout units like "Elves from Woody End" from the Elven Alliance

Yeah, they are scout units, and what's wrong with that eh? And no Gondor dosem't get seagulls, and Isengard can only summon crebain. No we're not wrong, and there are no dwarven cavalry, the dwarves will have strengths in other areas. BTW what you said at the end was hilarious!

If you don't like the mod for what it is then I suggest that you make like a plane in the burmuda triangle.

now, now. lets not get too mad at him. he thought if they were attacking units, not scouts. thats what he thought was stupid. and i would have agreed with him, that if they were attacking units, it would be odd. lets not scare a new person away :D

OK, I'm sorry to General Zeinlafol, but if you consider joining the forum you would be welcome

No about the Royal guard of Edoras, are they gonna be elite cavalry, or elite swordsmen? I hope they're cavalry

General Zeinlafol has given us an excellent example of why we shouldn't jump to conclusions. :D
Yes the Erebor Ravens are non-combat scouts.

And yes, Isengard is getting Crebain; Mirkwood is getting a Hawk (from Radagast) and Dale is getting Thrushes. (How's that for a bird theme :)

The RA Royal Guard will be a unique elite cavalry unit.

Are they going to be able to switch between bow and sword like the Elven alliance ones only as calvary instead of infantry? And will any other factions get flying scouts

Well Mordor has the Eye of Sauron and Nazgul-on-Fellbeasts (flying but not a scout), and Gondor has the White Tower power, Eagles and GTG-on-Eagle (ditto), and all factions as far as I know have some sort of scouting unit, but I doubt every one will have a bird scout.

And let's not forget, Erebor also has the Great Shelf mini-faction! (That's eagles for those who weren't at the old forums)

The RA Royal Guard will be a unique elite cavalry unit.

Gasp! The word unique means something... :p

Now, let's keep up the spam by thinking of wierd ideas of what 'unique' might imply...:p

They ride wargs, that would certainly make them unique amongst Rohan's cavalry :p

havn't heard that one before.. (btw I found that funny  ) Well, I guess I can live with them being recon units.. So what do their banner carriers look like? Stupid question, I know, but valid. I will join as soon as I get my email sorted out, however I like this mod the best, currently I use the battles of Gondor mod but it has its ups (and downs... :p ) Hmmmmmm unique elite cavalry..sounds like a new Age of Empires III expansion. But then again, could be uber pwnage on the battle field, then again it's all just mere speculation. Only the modders know :sad2: .......lizard tails..ha.ha.. funny...some sort of rip off of Mortal Kombat Armageddon..but alas it would be cool

Maybe the Royal Guards have a crappy version of Glorious Charge type skill, but it only works for themselves.
