What a useless post. :sad2: Well, we know that the two heroes for the Harad main-faction are Suladan and Bourkahn. What they are I have no idea, but it would be cool if one of them could join up with a Mumak and the other one rode on a horse.

I think Suladan is the serpent lord in pelenor fields. He carried a banner and was killed by theoden. Bourkahn is i have no clue.

All the more reason to have him ride around the battlefield. :sad2:

The Harad horseman chieftain wasn't actually the banner carrier.

Right through the press drove Theoden Thengel's son, and his spear was shivered as he threw down their chieftain. Out swept his sword, and he spurred to the standard, hewed staff and bearer, and the black serpent foundered.

But still, the chieftain (Suladan as we call him) was chief of the horsemen there at the Pelenor, so that would suggest that he was riding as well.

True, I never doubted that he shouldn't have a mount :sad2:

I think - not sure - that there was a hero that was a Mumakil hero, and his mount put him on a Oliphant. He had a leadership to other Mumaks.

That'd be pretty cool to mount a mumak, would there be any way to do it to the give the Haradrim a unique power only they can do.. Or maybe just to be able to get on a mumak you bought but have him on the front steering it?

Though I have no idea what is planned for Harad, I dont like the idea of mounting a Mumak, like heroes mount horses, as it will look stupid and he would have to cost a lot, and it would have to be a late game power. I do however like the idea of him being able to join with a normal mumak, which will grant the mumakil with improved stats, and even a leadership ability.

If there is any hero with a Mumak, I think he should start on the Mumak, because a mount ability probably wouldn't work and would likely look terrible.

True, very true, but maybe they could give him poers that can only be used on a normal mumak after joing with it, like maybe a health regeneration, or possibly a glorious charge like power.

That's precisely what I was thinking; for him to join up with an already built up Mumak. My ideas for this 'Bourkahn' character (if he was mentioned in Tolkien's work then my ideas have no place here, but anyway...):

Name - Bourkahn
Threat Classification - Hero
Unit type (melee, ranged, cavalry, etc.) - Archer (maybe melee, but is supposed to be a strong archer)
Cost - 1700 or 2000 (because of his Mumak ability mentioned above)

Powers:
lvl 1 - leadership thingy (morale or damage bonus to nearby troops)
lvl 4 - Poisonous Shot (shoots a poisonous arrow at the selected target which slowly wounds him over a long period of time)
lvl 8 - Mumak Master (forgive the name , but it allows you to mount a previously bought Mumak)
lvl 9 - Sound the Charge (only available on a Mumak; remember that scene in RotK where the first Harad guy you see on a Mumak that blows that wierd sounding horn? That's where I got the idea. It's like a 'Glorious Charge' that only affects surrounding Mumaks that gives them a speed bonus and a massive defense bonus against everything)

They've already succeeded in mounting a normal unit on a Mumak; in my limited knowledge of modding (limited, mind you) a hero shouldn't be that much harder.

no it ain't...

but you want to wait until level 8? Now that's not my taste, at all... He'll probably be some levels before you buy the mumaks anyways :crazed:

besides, I think that might be hard to code ^_^

I meant this...

lvl 8 - Mumak Master (forgive the name , but it allows you to mount a previously bought Mumak)

making him able to "mount" a mumak that's already bought... on a certain level... I know it's possible, yeah, but still :crazed:
