Actually, the werewolves were still in existence during the War of the Ring, they're mentioned by Gandalf in Rivendell and there is evidence that the wolves that attacked the Fellowship in Eregion before they entered Moria were actually Werewolves.

Back to topic, giving Khand cavalry archers would not make them a rip off of Rohan unless they were exactly like the Rhorrhirm.

So the concept of Khand is that they can field large numbers of cavalry and even mounted archers. These Horse Archers coulde be slightly similar to the Rohirrim in damage but much weaker in terms of armor.

I'm all up for someone explaining to me why the wargs should get collars (when they already have harnesses) and how on earth that translates to a leadership bonus (OMG they have collars we're totally winning now).

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

yeah well still back to the idea of Khand cavalry, Dain are you implying that the Variag mounted archers are gonna be similar to the rohirrim?

Anyway i guess we could kiss the idea of spiked collars giving leadership bonuses goodbye now.

Um buddy, just because someone else had a negative view on the idea doesn't mean that it's over. We still get to talk about it. So we won't kiss the idea goodbye now.

yeah, but collars seem kind of unrealistic, how would they realy help the wargs in real life.

Well, they could allow better control of the wargs. But my real point in my last point was that we can still continue discussions even if one person thinks it's a bit unrealistic.

OMG, you complimented one of my ideas! ;) :p I don't believe it! :p

I'm all up for someone explaining to me why the wargs should get collars (when they already have harnesses) and how on earth that translates to a leadership bonus (OMG they have collars we're totally winning now).

LOL! I said leadership bonus, OR (bom, bom, BOM!) allow the Wargs themselves to attack, i.e. bite, scratch, etc. Harnesses help the rider steer the warg/horse/animal, right (and I'm talking harness without the collar, like one of those all-body thingos ;))? But collars could give them their own freedom to attack. The rider could still do his thing on the back of the warg, while the warg does a bit of extra damage by biting or something. Doesn't really have to be realistic either. But this is your mod, you decide.

yeah, but collars seem kind of unrealistic, how would they realy help the wargs in real life.

Well, how would a Forged Blade stay 'forged' for the duration of the whole battle? Different questions, same simple answer: this is a game. Nothing has to be realistic here, but it's usually better if it is. :) And Alsch summed up a good way that they could help. I have mine further up.

Edit: and another point: a lot of warg riders rode bareback in the movies.
