This mod looks great.
I hope also, to see some ingame shots soon =)
as soon as i get time i promise
i've just been searching for ages for pics for unit and hero portraits and came upon an interesting fact (for some of you at least) - Jack Sparrows father, Captain Grant Sparrow!
- Check out the following link
http://en.wikipedia....n_Grant_Sparrow
I doubt he, like any other of the new characters coming up in the film, will be in the mod, at least the mod up till i see At Worlds End at cinema.

[See first post for pics]
Ignore the multiple Pintel and Ragetti hero portrait at the bottom of some of them and there is much more done by the way, but thats all i have time for at the moment

I'd like to see some renders of the buildings, the Navy ones look great, but the Pirate ones have a little bit of modelling debris. The Shipwreck's sails are on the ground and look kinda sloppy, and the other thing is not very readily defined. I would like to see what the buildings look like on their own.
BTW Pintel is nice and fat now, he looks a lot better!

How did you get the FX for Lady's Charm to be shaped in little pink hearts?

emmm the shipwrecks sail is meant to be on the ground...i was aware... and what do you mean by "not very readily defined"?
the pirate ones are kind of .... jerky and weird, at the moment we're thinking of a wooden run down with debris type of building layout for the pirate buildings....but that can all change with peoples letting me know what they think
thanks for the advice
- Oh and the FX, i just copied the invulnerability particlesystem but made it pink and made a new image (use alphas to only show the hearts) I can do more extensive FX's but i'v found this mod doesn't particularly have a need for them much.... thought i'd try and include something there though

Also, being careful about just how much debris you put in the pirate buildings. It sort of takes away from the architecture.

very nice stuff here; I'm impressed by the amount of work you alone achieve.
thanks but i dont alone achieve it all so i wont take all the glory, its me and a mate, but he has a sort of pay-as-you-go internet service thing whereas i have unlimited, so im doing all the publicity for the time being at least.
thanks anyway were both greatful for all your kind peoples compliments, advice and constructive criticisms!

But anyway:
The Black Pearl (The ship is a lot blacker, but on Umbar map where there is a yellowness..." (Also if you look carefully is Cottons Parrot which the Black Pearl can summon)
The Black Pearls Ores (Massive Speed bonus!)
The Black Pearl Shooting! ok thats enough of the black pearl....
Royal Navy Fort Fully upgraded, but showing no expansions - It willll have expansions (Deployed Cannon, Assign Captain and defensive tower - maybe more!)
The upgrades include Home of Royalty (Leadership Buff to nearby allies)
Shooting Windows (effectively increases the fortresses weapon speed)
Bunkers (Increases Health and enables units to garrison the building)
Iron Gates (Literally need to be broken to get to the fortress by melee attackers)
Command Room (Enables the recruitment of Mercer, and gives a vision bonus)
and the bad screens.........
(Of course when i redo the Flying Dutchman, there will be a farrr better and spikier stern, along with the Kraken Hammer if i can
HOWEVER despite those last 3 bad screens to finish on a more positive note - i recently received a pm saying that the very kind 3rd Age modding community Revora administrating people are going to host Battle For The Caribbean! Which is very great news to be hosted by the bestest BFME2 modding site out there I'm going to try on there to make some more regular and better updates
...and i'll add the link to the new threads as soon as its set up - Wooh!!
EDIT: - I also have a new version of the Royal Navy and a Pirate Tech Tree ready which i'll publish either in a few days or hopefully once the new threads are up and running

Those are some really nice models there. Nice work
Very small update
- This is as the cannon ball is actually being fired out of it... theres lots of dust but i kept missing it with screenshots so this will have to do.
- HAS BEEN RE-SKINNED
The cannon and the bracket thing for it is actually a lot darker and blacker... but im using the Umbar map again which makes it look yellower... - Sooo what do you think?? Please let me know

As for how you hosting is going, make sure you PM me if you've not received any news from Celeglin, who's busy, and I'll work on setting you up.
