I don't know the probability exactly, but since we now have 4 ents + TB I told Sul to set the Spell so that it always spawns all 4 of them =)

When recruiting I guess it's 25% chance for each of them

That's funny!! I was getting Mr. Oak a lot, but I think I got mr. Birch on my 3rd purchase/spawn.

I like all of them. Trees are neat, until they fall. Not foar from where I live in SE Michigan, to the NE about 40 miles, is a 179-foot or so Red Maple. It is in a small river/creek valley and it looks like the Haunted Forrest even by itself alone. It is big!!!

I'm of to se the Wizard ..., Chris

Hehe I doubt you are getting Mr Oak though, since he's not in BetaIV, but will be in BetaIV v2... You are probably mixing him up with Birch. Birch and Fir are the old regular ents in the game, and Ash was added for BetaIV, so Oak makes the fifth ent (with TB) for BetaIV v2 =)

Aight... since I got sick of waiting for Celeglin to return to T3A, so I could ask him about his nice TEA skins for the Hobbit Heroes... ...I finally made my own skins for them :p

So I guess this better completes the claim that ALL skins have been reskinned in SEE ^_^
And if I may say so myself, I think they turned out great.

Indeed. Looks very nice  Even though its little hard to see Merry because of the angle, I think that Sam is the best.

Thanks guys =)

And I agree, Sam is best, but I blame the models, hehe. For some reason Sam's model is really well done, while Frodo's is a little less perfect which affects the mapping of the skin. Merry and Pippin models are even less good model-wise. For instance, the Merry model should be slightly bigger (I might scale him a couple of percent) and the head should be wider. I get the feeling that EA spent most time on the Sam model. IN PSD the textures are awesome in resemblance to the actors, but the trick is to get them to look good when wrapped onto the model =p

I will probably polish them a bit more later on, and post more screens when that is done =) But, at least they look as good now as when I used the Celeglin skins for testing in the Internal Beta (and those were made for BFME1 models, if they do differ, dunno?). If you wanna compare, check the PDF where I gave Cel some free promotion for those TEA skins, hehe. So no more low res EA skins for our dear hobbits. You will all have them for the "v2" release

Just take my word for it though... what Sûl is doing to my baby (S.E.E.) is like... what MTV is doing to an old Ford in Pimp my Ride! Sûl is basically the reason for me wanting to make "Pimp my Mod" an official expression!

His stuff might not always be capturable on screen shots, but they make MAJOR impact on the general foundation of SEE (realism and movie likeness)! =)

(Sorry if I speak about you as you were not here, lol)

And now that I think of it, since you (back to 1st person, lol) basically took on the role of IP-LoD's job (since he left us?), you gave us screens of the new FX for the new Leadership system and the new ent and ent abilities and fx... I just love it! =)

I'll take that as an insult, Sam's my favorite character. But well done for getting those extra skins.
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

I'll take that as an insult,

why? Sam was a fat hobbit and now he looks like it.

Sam's my favorite character.

what does that have to do with anything?

;) I didn't "get" the skins... I made them ;)

And Sam's model has not changed any bit... he's still the same model so he's still equally "fat" as before... Not that I ever saw him as fat though, I've even met Sean Astin irl ;)
Posted Image

He's not "fat", he's just a little "sturdy" :p

What a hideous jumper...

Good job on the skins. How many lo-res skins are left in the game now?
