I let mappers join because I know that the campaign will certainly be finished after the mods "Final Release"... And new maps are always welcome, but so are ideas :good:

Once again, I have a Sunday WotE update to show you  Give feedback and comments :p

Ulwarth, captain of the Rhun Royal Guard, has got an entirely different look. He starts as a "rotten" human, but by using a power (needs a name) he can transform into the wraith-like figure we all know:
Posted Image

Ulwarth ingame:
Posted Image

Fuinur now looks a lot more like the character in the films I based him on. At level 5 he gains the Assassin of the South upgrade wich gives him an alternative weapon and some damage and armor bonuses:
Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Morgomir (or we could just call him a Nazgul) has also been reskinned:
Posted Image

Posted Image

And so have the Black Riders. Now they really are "black":
Posted Image

Posted Image

Witch-king's new look:
Posted Image

And let's not forget the Witch-king of Angmar:
Posted Image

Posted Image

Speaking of the Nazgul, here's Khamul of the Evil Men faction:
Posted Image

EA made Lurtz look so ugly that I just had to reskin him:
Posted Image

Posted Image

Last, but not the least, Radagast the Brown:

Skin - IthronAiwendil

Radagast
Model, skin - FlameGuard
Binding - Juissi

The base desing of the serpents which you can see on Ulwarth's armor, have been made by Caluadan

I would also like to announce that two new people have joined the team. The first one is lacrossman930, who is a new mapper for WotE, and ElrondHighLord, an exellent skinner who can help the mod become even better :p

Sorry EHL, I just didn't have time to put any of your skins for this update  , but for the next one, I will show your awesome work :p

No, I just haven't been able to catch you on MSN, and this week I've done mostly skinning work so no FXs were needed for this week. But next week I can surely give you some work to do :p

I have an idea for Ulwarth's power:

lvl 5: Magic of Romestamo
The Magic of Romestamo had a terrible influence on Ulwarth. Indeed, because it made into a wright with evil looking face and rotten body.
Ulwarth gains 30% damage, 10% movement and attack speed, 20% vision but loses 20% armor

Everything is great as usual :p

power for ulwarth could be called:
corruption of flesh
a member of uldor the accursed's family you could call it
man of the accursed flesh/secret pact with morgoth
indeed the toll of his families pact with morgoth took a great toll on the souls of its members and this corruption lead to their transformation in the midst of battle into a ferocious wraith filled with the malice of morgoth himself

that was just like the explanatioon for it not a real thing, but I think that this would make a lot of sense. should make a mask like khamul for him too

NICE i LOVE that khamul model its sweet!!! 1 thing though i know im being picky but the witchkings look a bit disproportional the boyseems a little to small for hios head mabey make him a bit taller and buff up his arms and chest a liittle. And the ulwarth model looks good but the wraith model face is a bit flat mabey fix it up some. otherwise looks awesome :p

Ithron! You're as good as ever, even better it seems. :p
If you ever made some skins with low quality, it's certain your current ones are just the opposite (that last Easterling guy for example :p ). And something I really enjoyed seeing, was how you've improved your buttons. There was a time when I could say that I was among the few that could make EA-like buttons, but it seems I've got some competition from your part. ;)

All in for Wars of the East. :p

...wow.

"Two Mods for the wise Lauri under the sky...
Three for Gothmogtheorc in his hall of stone...
Hundreds for n00bs doomed to die...
And one for the Bright Lord on his bright throne...

In WotE, where the genius hides.

One Mod to rule them all,
One Mod to find them -
One Mod to charm them all
And in the brightness, bind them -

In WotE, where the genius hides.
"

I liked this update much. Thindelar looks great, probably one of your best works, Ithron ! I have two complaints about some other things, though:

- Morgomir's crown-thingy is just... great. TOO GREAT FOR MORGOMIR'S HEAD :thumbsupsmiley:

- What's the main differencce between the human form and wraith form at Ulwarth ?
Posted Image
---
"Well, I can't argue with that - modding IS hard. But what would have become of games like Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Dungeon Siege, Half-Life 1-2, Neverwinter Nights and BfME 1-2 if we, modders, weren't there ? They would have long been forgotten. Modding is hard, but it's an honorable thing." - MorrisB

Thanks for your comments everyone ;)

- Morgomir's crown-thingy is just... great. TOO GREAT FOR MORGOMIR'S HEAD

Changinf that would require modeling, which I will not do for him at this stage

- What's the main differencce between the human form and wraith form at Ulwarth ?

- In the wraith form, Ulwarth gets a major damage increase, but decreased speed and armor. The power works like any mount power, so you can toggle between the two forms easily
