CREATOR! have you ever thought of making civilians in the map? like harmless onlookers? some people we can kill without them fighting back? can do you think it's possible to make moving civilian vehicles? to add more life into the map. make animals also, and whatever things that can add life into the maps, and also provide us with something to kill, for pleasure. is it possible?

It's possible, but it hogs resources on something that isn't needed.

or maybe just capturable units. that are neutral like those neutroned ones that can be taken over.

You mean like the one in red alert 2(you mind controlled a bus and send Infantry in it for a sneak attack)but using neutron bomb to capture civilians unit do the same as the bus????? :thumbsupsmiley: :p ;)

no, i mean neutroned units. eg. tanks. or civilian based vehicles, like bomb cars, militia tanks, planes.

and i think demo's super unit should be this,something i made

i would suggest that the superweapon general is overpowered with ability to upgrade all structures with EMP mines , for a LAN or online play the player usualy mass buldings so the mines get thicker and thicker , leaving no chance for any GLA ambush or sneak attack to destroy the early superweapon ,ICBM missile. Whit troops is useless.

Also Aurora beta should belong to Airforce , even aurora is owerpowered for superweapon , i played a lot of LAN games i know.

On the other hand Contra is an AWESOME mod. :p :grin:

but that was always too cumbersome and was never worth it in the end. I like in the destructive forces mod, demo gen can build a car dealership which builds civilian cars for like $160 or so. It has like 10-12 different kinds.

no, i mean civilians there, not capturable or whatever, just things that you'll be able to kill for fun, and they won't fight back. i remember the original general having these "people" inside. oh yah, mercs would also be a good addition to the game, would you agree? like units hire to kill, but they can only be bought at some special tech building.

and it'll be great to see more life in the maps, takes time though.

General Tao uses nucreal weaponary, even nucreal bullet -weapons. But he gattlingtank is something that I think should be changed. Couldn't general Tao have some sort of a flaktank instead of a gattlingtank? Similar outlook, range and durability but it would have two cannons on it's towers eather side which would fire relatievly slowly flak-shells, that would be effctive against infantry and aircraft (just like the gattlingtank). But it's shells could be later upgraded to have nucreal waste inside, that they would leave small radiation fields when used on the ground, and large silicon-cloud like radiation-clouds that would cause a bit less damage and be a bit smaller than the silicon-clouds. It could also be a bit slower to move because of the increased firepower.

my suggestions are:

-like the other guy said, add some capturable civilian building wich have boughtable mercenaries

-fix the gla ai problem(beacon)

-make infantry a bit more small.

-some custom maps (AI and mp)

-good new music

-terminator for ironhand's hero or visor from Quake3!

It is a very good unit in Remix. I suggest you go and play Remix 3.
the nuke generals hevay tank has double retaliator cannons on it.

Creator and Pendaelose (maker of Remix 3) share content openly. If Creator thinks that it is a good idea, or he likes the unit he will add it, but at the moment I'm sure there is a reason why he is not adding anymore units to the sides.

i saw in a mod that the bomb truck was given a second "high explosive" upgrade, which was a TNT pack on the front bumper of the truck. Would be cool to have in Contra, perhaps only after Juhziz SW has been built.

You should also try destructive forces for ideas. For the united arab side, they have a REALLY cool unit built from their science center after they get 3 different upgrades. It's really cool.

oh man, i think i've got a vry good idea, well at least i think they are, and its for gla. how about this upgrade called civilan resistance, this will make infantry of gla cheaper and stronger, because tehy fight for the hatred of amercia and china...

and i think stinger sites can be build alomst anywhere by anyone with sandbags and rocket lancher, how about allowing stinger/rpg troopers the ability to build stinger sites, in which they can garrison? stinger sites are like those make shift defence structure.

oh yah, another thing how about weapon upgrades for all infantry? like a normal soldier can have an upgarde on their standard issue or something, this will make infantry a more usable unit. cause i do not remember using normal infantry in any of my games, other than capturing buildings, and that makes it worst for china, who has black lotus. so make normal infantry better with more upgrades?

and also, how bout giving the ak-47 upgarde to workers also? ak-47 is widely used and can be used by almost everyone, so with an ak-47. the workers can more or less fend for themselves. so they won't be like some useless idiots that build stuff and collects goods.

and for the black market, i think its not "illegal" enough, how about having more upgrades? like weapons from other factions? you know, the place is after all the black market.

and can someone change the nuke gen's face? make it look more professional? and not someone who kills people in schools?

and what happened to the button to sell our buildings? i remember creator saying that that will make us think, but if the sell button is taken away, what will become of the "buy and sell" strategy? and how can you fall back without leeting enemy gain exp by destorying your building? if selling is not good, how about a demolish button? so you can demolish your structure without allowing enemy to gain exp. i mean it still makes people think, because they are after all not getting their moeny back by destorying their own buildings.


well, they are just few of the many ideas i have, lol. and creator, sorry for being a bother, i was hoping that i wouldn't spam this suggestion topic with my suggestions. lol...
