I had once considered something similare for Assault Gen, but descided against it for other reasons. I had considered making a Mig-Multirole that could become an interceptor or a bomber.

I'm not oposed to the idea, as I originaly said... I just don't think it will happen. Its easier for the player and the modder to just have alternate units.


btw, I've been considering replacing the stryker with 4 different units instead of 1-upgradeable.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

the same as the 4 options available now, just built directly from the factory.

We're invading the contra forum again though. Any more Remix questions need to be asked over there.

he has a laser raptor already... have you played Contra or Remix?

though, the circling motion on the blackhawk is interesting... that I'll take into concideration while designing units.

Hello Creator, I am a Contra fan and I love the mod right now, but I think that rangers cost too much. $300 per ranger? That's too expensive! Please make them cheaper. In your home page, all of the USA generals except Cybernetic apparently have more expensive infantry. I can understand for the Super Weapon General, but please make Air Force's and Laser's rangers cheaper (about $200). This hinders the use of infantry a lot, so please consider this. Thank you!

and that is a reasonable suggestion, im sure infantry could use with a price cut.

how bout this? a new artillery unit for Demo Gen

accidently put this in the new topic section, but i think its a worthy idea. could be added to Demo Gen. as his third buggy variant. the cannon is just a cheap mockup of one, something wider and similar to a cannon would be better.

would have less range than the Vanilla buggy, but more damage. same armor.

the animation for the terrorist when he *attacks* (is launched unknowingly=D) can be the same as his normal explosion, because they fly into the air after, and bounce back on the ground.

or he could just explode :lol:

but for the general with terrorists on Tomahawk missiles, i don't think its much of a stretch.



plus, its just plain funny

ill find the link to the site where other units like this have been made for people to use in mods...there are so many other funny units...
like the "Terrichical".

bassically a technical, with a terroist strapped to the bullbars and stuck onto the doors :lol:

but for the general with terrorists on Tomahawk missiles, i don't think its much of a stretch.


hopefully creator will remove them....because they dont really compliment the mod.

It is possible, and it looks better, I use smaller infantry in my mod. Though admidably it does make them slightly more difficult to select indevidualy.

Hi!

After playing this awesome mod via hamachi about 16892378 times, i thought of some suggestions:

- Airforce General needs a better Aircraft / Armament Option VS. AntiAir-Vehicles and -emplacements.
Maybe throw in the choice "SEAD" or "Wild Weasel" - Armament which is stronger VS. Antiair and weaker against everything else...

- GLA Defense Sites are way too strong. The fact that they turn into a cloaked gla hole is badass,
since radarscans won't detect them anymore. In combination with the artillery site, it's easy for the GLA
Demo/Toxin General to hide in a THICK, very durable layer of defenses unlike any other general.
That should be lowered a bit.
Maybe leave out the GLA-hole-regeneration or higher the costs for the artillery upgrade?

Anyway, I can't wait to see Contra 006 :-)

Different players expressed similar suggestions before. I know about all of it. It Contra 006 will have proper ballance changes.
