Not to be blunt or anything... I mean.. with ALL respect to Tom, but... the stuff that Rob and LI made exeeds anything I've seen from BoG except maybe the Rhûn Barracks from Cahik, but I'm pretty sure that Cahik would never donate that model to SEE

We have just about everything covered except Rhûn Baracks, Stables and Armory... Well you can see for yourselves in 1st post =)

....ok. I'm fulla bad ideas today...XD.

So....when you play the faction, will you start with powerful rhun stuff and unlock Harad later, or vice versa?
If I were you and you were me I'd have a different face.

That is exactly the way it will work... =)

Think Gondor (Rhûn) and Rohan (Harad)

wow....that'll work pretty good. Start out with the mainstream easterling units, then get the haradrim's speed to complement the mumakil. Sounds good to me.

So...what about half-trolls for harad?

IMO, it should've been Harad and then Rhûn.... I mean, Harad has simple units (in terms of equipment), while Rhûn has heavily armed troops.... Then again, Gondor does come before Rohan

Exactly... But we can still control this in some way with Structure levels and and Phases.. much like in the case of MotW =)

I wouldn't wanna redo MotW into Rohan faction with Gondor support... The movie made Gondor stand out and Rohan be the support... I feel we should do the same with MotE or whatever we call them... :good:

And this way, we also make sure that Mumakil are for late game only =)

Mumaks as late game units THANK GOD!
Wow this is quite scary your have allready got a damn good balanced sounding faction there. However one question. Where will the corsairs go will they stay at mordor or back up their things and go MOTE or evil men or whatever they are called?

They should stay available for Mordor imo. But they should also be available for Evil Men.

Corsairs are practically siege units. Evil men could use em more than mordor because of trolls, but both could get em.

It's been decided long ago that Corsairs will stay with Mordor as their support unit. All factions will have those (support units), as well as "spam" units for quick defence. There's a special thread in Staff where I list all faction's units. I will move it to open forums so we will have more clarification on what's to come and what's not :cool2:

Mumaks need a damage boost to buildings in the next beta. They do awesome damage to Units, but not buildings.

I agree to some extent WKH... But EvilMen will have the nice Catapult from Lauri listed in 1st post as a Siege Weapon. We might also give them a Battering Ram, but the Mumakil will stay a primarily anti-cavalry unit. I can't really imagine them doing that much damage to buildings other than weaker types sych as tents and wooden structures. Striking a stone structure with them tusks should really damage the tusks rather than the structure, lol. Anyway, I will give them a damage boost to individual strucures rather than ALL structures. But this is balance polishing and I only do that right before each Beta release. I'll set it up for next beta =)

That's understandable. I am really pleased with the Mumakil anyway just because they own practically any unit and their armor is very strong. I just didn't know anyone was aware of that, but due to balance I guess it's the right way to go.

I am actually gonna enjoy being Evil men. Now that I think about it, Mordor will be more Mordor with you have the mixture of Orcs, Trolls, and Naz. But Evil Men I really will like too with the mumaks and Harads! :thumbsupsmiley:

Hehe yah, just imagine playing Mordor and having your ally as EvilMen or MotE or whatever we're gonna call them. You're most likely gonna see more Mumaks on screen since that player can "concentrate" more on making them while you fill the screen with blood thirsty Orc tribes from Gorgoroth, Minas Morgul and Morannon followed by a number of Attack Trolls and the Nine :p

What evil men really need are evil dwarves! Dwarves make everyone happy!:p

Now, I'm not talking about pure evil dwarves (since dwarves can't be pure evil). I'm talking more along the lines of those greedy ruffian sort of dwarves (like petty-dwarves) that allied themselves with Rhun (it did say in the books that dwarves did some limited trading with Rhun) to loot riches from others. They would be with Rhun, and be a high defense, yet slow unit for those big battles where you need some units to soak up damage. They could be pretty expensive though, and unlike dwarves from the dwarven faction, they aren't as experienced, so they won't be quite as strong. :p

The Valar had to nerf Dwarves, or we would of taken over the world before it even began... :D
