Are you going to keep the Young Dragon for evil men faction? Because they weren't that great. maybe make them faster or more defense or something. Thanks.

And what about the harad spearmen. You can get alot of those little pests fast for cheap and they can get op if you use just them.

Sorry to interrupt conversation (again lol), but I just come to say that I've only one bug to fix (the double armies' hero), and next I'll propose my work to Rob.

if you have the lust, scroll back, as i wrote pretty interesting post, about how to make the dragons better ( dunno the site, you need to search for it ) it was an ultimate fortress upgrade, making the baby dragons, into adolescent dragons ( stats boost, hp boost, and two new powers )

as for the spearman, no they are not op, becouse they die pretty quickly, and you need A LOT OF THEM to make some decent power. they are coming out in small battalions ( for evil races ), and are good thx their price as early spamm unit, even if you use Rhun, and dont have discount on them.

edit: and druchii, can i ask you about your nick ? becouse the word " druchii " is a synonyme of " Dark elf " from Warhammer. im asking coz im curious if it is this that inspired you

There is Warhammer: Mark of Chaos: Battle March (add-on of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos). I don't have it, but it looks fun.

i have suggestions for myabe khandish units...maybe bought from the inn or something or take out easterling cavalry and put these in

Variag War Wagon - Used to transport and protect the Khagan if he deigned to appear on the battlefield.
Variag Nobles - Superb horsemen, heavily protected by full scale, lamellar or mail, helmets and grieves, armed with composite bows, lances and curved single-edged swords.
Arsiyah Cavalry - Outstanding medium cavalry which forms the regular standing army of Khan. Scale cuirasses, armed with hand axes, lances and short bows.
Haruze Horse Archers - Haradan light cavalry, very fast. Lamellar armour of rigid leather, composite bows and scimitars.
Camel Riders - Variag light cavalry. Soft leather armour, javelins, axes and short bows.
Variag Guard - Variag medium infantry. Lamellar armour of rigid leather, lamellar helmets and grieves, battle axes, large oval shields and straight single-edged swords.
Variag Spearmen - Variag Light infantry. Soft leather or brigandine armour, helmets, pikes, spears and hand axes.
Nûrniag Levies - Light infantry, weak morale. Soft leather armour, clubs, slings, javelins and round shields.
Nûriag Levies - Tribal militias, fierce but uncoordinated. Soft leather armour, spears, hand axes and short bows.

While Khand units, in my opinon, are needed for MotE, I doubt whether or not these can be used considering they are from another source. :p But what so I know, anything is possible. :p Nevertheless, they are interesting. :p

oh no, please not again, this was already discused some ( much ) time ago. Since Khand could make up for another full minifaction, it was decided that MotE stays just as Rhun/Harad alliance.

newertheless, no matter what i said, i personally would like the MotE to consist of three factions ( Rhun - superb infantry, with powerfull anit cawalery units, lacks late game archers, sorecererrs and wariags (which needs to be remade), Harad - mainly focused on ranged units, and siege beasts, offers MotEs MHH - which i love, absolutely, Khand - main focus on mounted unit, horses and some wariags capable of bearing battlegear (like statues, wells, debuffing totems etc etc ).
And you could choose one faction with discount, while others would have the prices higher ( till you get that alliance PP )

Myrdin's idea sounds awesome, but making an entire minifaction would take a lot of time :p

maybe they could become Inn faction, like Souther fiefdoms are inn faction for Gondor.

Some things I am going to say about Khand:

1. If they were added along with Rhun and Harad as a mini-faction, it would crowd it.
2. If they were added as an Inn faction, it would risk the Inn faction looking like "here are the units/factions that couldn't make it but here they are anyways". In other words, it would crowd the Inn.
3. More Khand units would give us that "Cookie-Cutter" effect. Which would also be a solid reason not to add them as a faction.
4. Tolkien didn't exactly give us a lot of in-depth description of Khand. He just said some things here and there about them, to be honest. This is a pure opinion of mine, but I think that they don't pose enough of a significance to make it into the game as any kind of a faction. Besides, what kind of missions could you have them do (besides the Khand Map) in the campaign that MOTE aren't already doing?

In the end, a maximum of two Khandian (<someone correct me on this term) units would do them justice for the reasons that I listed above. The reason that I say 2 Khandian units is because it was discussed a few pages back and it makes the most sense to me. I'm all for the lore with these guysz but in this case, I think that gameplay is going to have to win on this one. Not only that but if the team did do this, then why not make every unit (like Daleian units) have their own mini-faction? If Khand gets its own faction then Dale should definitely get its own faction because Dale was mentioned a lot more in the books. And if we have that kind of mentality, this mod will start to turn out like the RA mod. <I'm not looking down on it, by the way. There is beautiful work done in that mod but I don't think that Rob wants to use their format.

It would still crowd the Inn. I think that there are enough factions as it is.

That would depend on how many units will be in a Khand inn faction. They could be like backup for MotE like South Fiefdoms is for Gondor. Besides, more inn factions are planned iirc.

I agree. Khand would make for a great inn minifaction. The Inn is far from crowded, at least for now
