Should we keep CaH even if we use CaH to create new regular heroes?

Why add just a regular Citedel Gaurd but not the Prince of Dol Amrtoh?

Because he will be part of the KoDA-Summon! :p

because he's with his nearest.... and he's a great man among the men of Minas Tirith :p The Prince of Dol Amroth has nothing to do in Gondor if his knights aren't in Gondor ;) (are they? :p)

Dol Amroth is in Gondor. Its a small penisula soming off of the Gondor coastline. They have the best knights in all of Gondor their. If the line of the stewards ended, it would proably be Imrahil who becomes the next steward. He is one of the most powerful men in Gondor.

So how will he be unique compared to the othe KoDA?

Beregond likely wouldnt be a very good hero. Hed be very hard to make a unique hero.

Even though Dol Amroth is in Gondor, it makes no sense to have Imrahil on Gondor if his knights aren't there.... Still, I'm guess that could work for you seeing as Dol Amroth is about as far away as Helm's Deep is from Minas Tirith :p And, now that I know that they will both (as in, the prince and his knights) on Gondor, but only via a summon, I have no arguments against it.

I didn't know if the KoDA was in the mod, but if they wouldn't be in the mod, it would be like throwing Haldir into without his elves ;) if someone comes a long way to help, he usually don't come alone ;) Yeah, Imrahil would've been a first choice for a new steward if needed be, most likely. He is said to be even to Aragorn and Eomer in strength if I remember correct...

So, without the Knights of Dol Amroth, I would rather have Beregond rather than Prince Imrahil ;)

Ok so we know what he did and what he looks like. So how does that help us? Mabye a power where he can attack allied units? Thats all we really got to work with. I think Imrahil would be better because he played a much bigger role in the book, he was a much more important, and We need a Gondorian Calvary Hero. Yes, I know, Faramir can me used, but then who will lead the Rangers? And it wasnt my idea to make KoDA a summon only. I think they should be buyable as regular units, but that decision has already been made...

It has, kinda.

I also like Beregond better. It's true, he should have at least ONE unique power, otherwise it would seem to be not so interesting to have him. Anybody up for inventing a unique power for him? I'll see if i can code it somehow. It should not be a 1to1 copy of someone elses power.

Let's see, what was it that he was known for:
Being friendly to and impressed by Pip. Having a son. Being loyal to Gondor moreso than to the Stewards' family head. Being sensible and honorable. Don't know anything else about him.

See, we got nothing on him. He'd be like another Ugluk clone but for men. We have nothing to make him unique. Imrahil has a bit more to work with.

You misunderstood. I am sure we will find something interesting for Beregond. I requested you guys brainstorm about a unique ability for him!

Imrahil will also need some stuff. But he'll stay a member of the 'Knights of Dol Amroth' Summoning. Aaagh. Sorry. Can we move on now, please? Posted Image

Guard of Faramir: sacrifices himself for Faramir when Faramir is about to die. Transfers his health to Faramir. Or something.

I REALLY don't think that this would fit ANY good hero... well, maybe Boromir :p

I don't like that Guard of Faramir thing either, because it would have very limited use, being ably to save only one specific hero by killing another off instead... Faramir isn't that great, you know :p

Build me an army worthy of Mordor!

Trolls do this. Only the numbers are different. Not really unique, since Boromir has something familiar. Also i don't see Beregond attacking friends.

Maybe this: Call for aid [Need better name] ('teleport' up to two units/hordes within a small area from somewhere on the map to where he is at).
It's not unique in the sense that the CaH Wizard has this, but i don't think anyone else has. It sure beats any kind of 'troops-from-nowhwere'-summoning. With appropriate FX (think Dûnedain allies) it could be beautiful. And a lifesaver.
