The Vigilant Ent expansion: If units come too close, could it knock them back like a melee ent? It shouldn't be overpowered, because it's so slow, but ya know, if it's bending over to pick up a rock, it should be able to knock a couple of orcs around.
Yeah, I like this thought... We might be able to add a Vigilant Ent to the Moot. Like in opposite end to that familiar leaning rock

They did quite well in bfme 1 and added characters like Gilgalad and the Twins you are talking about..
They also modded on bfme 2 but they've stopped working on it and confered right to use it..
Why not taking the Models of the Twins and add it to the Elves??
here
Just a suggestion...

Including Elladan and Elrohir is a matter not of availability, but rather of the large number of heroes that are already populating the Elven faction.

That would make Noldor into a mini faction of Elves and in the 3rd age Noldor elves were extremely rare in Middle Earth (if any), so we like to keep them just that - a rare and ancient "breed", but powerful. They're not a "hero" unit though... they're an Elite unit Currently in Private Beta 4.6 we have 2 small units that can merge into 1. I want them to be 4 units that can merge into 2, but more than that won't happen since this is the 3rd age and not the 2nd =p
Gil-Galad + Hes warriors , that should be nice.

Perhaps you could give ent moots experience levels and have the vigilant ent as a level 3 addition? (Kind of like arrow towers are for resource buildings.) I've found it annoying anyway that ent moots can't level up and give you production speed bonuses. I think it would give Elves a well needed boost in the siege department, you're pretty much screwed once the enemy gets fire arrows. The Vigilant Ent expansion: If units come too close, could it knock them back like a melee ent? It shouldn't be overpowered, because it's so slow, but ya know, if it's bending over to pick up a rock, it should be able to knock a couple of orcs around.

Now, having a floodgate as an additional tower might be ok. Mind you, the whole concept is based on the river at Rivendell and the powers of Arwen (or Gandalf, depending on the version you follow.) The floodgate isn't really Tolkien, or Jackson.
...Ahhh, but don't remove it from the mod. I think it's very cool.
I am not a fan of the friendly fire though. Does it damage buildings, and is there any way to prevent your own units from getting wiped out? It's harder to play if half of your fortress is unplayable.

He will be faster than the other ents, right? He was thinner, and more rash than the other ents I believe. He made decisions too fast for their liking. Hehe.
Probably too thin for rock throwing. Perhaps he should be a unit stomper. Low health, but high dodge rate. You try hitting a moving birch tree with a fire arrow. :p I think this would make him an excellent support ent, as he can deal with any units attacking the ents while they throw rocks. And if given any kind of leadership, it could be called "Entish Enthusiasm." ;)
