So, how do you tell this the AI?
Not a clue...
But...the current system of having to build a $4000 structure to have access to the weakest infantry in the game doesn't really work either. Same for the Archery Ranges...why invest in a Rohan one to give me access to Yeomen when I build a Gondor one for nearly the same cost?
I think the best way to make the Peasants and Yeomen is my earlier suggestion to make them buildable from Farms and receive Leadership style buffs from them. An alternative would be to make Gondor Soldiers and Archers as Tier 2 units; another would be to have Peasants and Yeoman have considerably shorter buildtime than their Gondor equivalents and also significantly lower pop. count.

Which they have, both low buildtime as well as low pop count.

Level 1-3 strider outfit
athelas - lvl 1
sword/bow toggle lvl 2
blademaster lvl 3
level 4-6 helms deep outfit
sword/bow toggle replaced with mount lvl 4
leadership lvl 5
Elendil - not sure about this cause he says it in fotr, thinking in first 3 lvls
level 7-10 black gate outfit
athelas
mount
blademaster
leadership
elendil
army of the dead
I hope that this makes sense,
the other idea I had was to replace the army of the dead spellbook power with "return of the king"
have aragorn change into his black gate outfit get a damage bonus from anduril and a debuff to units kinda like the battle at the black gate when they make a final stand and he rallys them, before the ring is destroyed.
His powers would then look like this:
lvl 1-5 strider outfit
lvl 1 athelas
lvl 2 wep toggle
lvl 3 blademaster
lvl 6-10 helms deep outfit
lvl 6 mount replaces wep toggle
lvl 8 elendil
lvl 10 army of the dead
25 point spell book power Return of the king changes him to black gate outfit and gives him leadership and damage bonus with other debuffs
Sorry for the long post didnt realise how bad it was until I typed it up.

However I base this opinion on when I used Aragorn in BFME1, I haven't used him very much in this mod so I don't know how effective his AotD ability is.
