I start to feel like I'm getting old - I've been waiting around (somewhere...) for this mod longer than pretty much all the modders themselves!

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

I resent that.

But yes :shiftee:

Is whopper coming back anytime soon? I miss his rambling English and hatred of anything remotely anti-Dutch ;)

this is my apouligy to the RA community about my utterly disgusting and imature behaviar, which i have conducted on the RA fourms and my own fourms. i am ashamed about what i have said to the RA team. this is my apoulige. i think i also ow evryone an explantion becuase it really isnt like me. i suppose i just got really tired of wating for the mod and seeing the gonodr faction, with the citdal guard and the dundien, i am very geunly sorry about my actions. I would also like to say I do understand as a fellow moddler, why the RA have been at it for a long time, i should have respected this. I hope i can any way imporve my mods realtions with this, but i think my disgusting behaviar has done to much damage. My apouligse again,to everyone on the RA fourms. you will not be hearing form me again. I would also like to apoluigse for deleting Nertea account on my fourm, i think it was the right thing to do to stop anymore problems form me.

to evryone at RA sorry about my behavior and look foward to seeing the mods develoments in the future

waraelm (the idiot)

I was thinking about how the team decided to add original heroes to the factions Dale, Harad and Dwarves and about how Mirkwood has only two heroes, one a combat specialist (Legolas) and the other a Leadership and support hero (Thranduil). Don't you think you could make up an original hero for Mirkwood, the same you did it for the other factions RA introduces? Like a melee hero.

It's more of a suggestion, but I just wanted to say it. I know Legolas is good for both range and melee, but I was thinking of a more specialized melee hero.
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

They probably wouldn't need to "make up" a hero, if by that you mean out of their creative imagination, at least not for Mirkwood. The entire 1st age was about the elves and I'm positive that some of the elves metioned that lived in Doriath or Nargothrond or even Gondolin. Between these three great elven kingdoms, all of which were destroyed by Melekor. I'm sure some great captain resetlled in Mirkwood. Just look at Legalos's name (named after captain of gondolin I think).Anyway, this is my long winded way of saying they won't make heroes up from scratch if they can. For the realms that have lots of history they don't need to make heroes up. I would think for the dwarves they would have more of Billbo's companions, or at least make up sons for them. Harad and Rhun don't have very much history though so aside from the blue wizards, and maybe a Nazgul I couldn't tell you. Well that's my two (more like twenty) cents. Have a great Easter you guys.
Peace

elves have quite good units combat-wise. also Legolas is supposed to be quite good figter while Thraduil is somehow similar to the Gandalf imho. but their main hero power is in minifactions...if you select Rivendell then you get Glorfindel, one of the strongest elves in T3A and Elrohir & Elladan two really good fighters. with Lothlorien comes Celeborn and Haldir both quite strong heroes and with woodman you can get Radagast and Grimbeorn so you get istari and really strong first line warrior. so no way is Mirkwood short on heroes. they just dont have them in main faction

hey i really enjoy seeing all of the great things that are being added every week and i would once again like to commend everyone working on this mod. I was wondering if it was possible to add either/both of the following:
Capturable Buildings that give special bonuses to the owning faction.
or
Maybe a build a hero... any of those would be fun...
Just suggestions although i am not sure if they would work. oh and a question, would the maps that i have on my computer be able to play with RA or does it have to be special maps?

RA isn't allowed to copy BFME II material. Even so, it would compile extra work for the team. And they have enough modding work as it is.
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

Neither Create-A-Hero or capturable buildings are the property of BFME2. Even so, they likely won't be happening.

You should be able to use your normal maps, but they won't have any of the minifaction plots on them.
