hmm technically this is implemented in bfme2 by adding the bombard function. if you would get the trebuchets bombard function and port it to archers in a way, it would work.. dunno if it's possible though :wink_new:

doubt it....but the rangers in BFME II had a "shoot anywhere on the map" power. put a distance limit on that and maybe that would work.......

Wait...this is RA we're talking about! They'll think of something that will put us all to shame! :wink_new:

If I'm right,
RA will only work properly if you have English as language setting.

I don't know anything about modding, but I think it's possible to translate all strings, for own use of course :good:

You should leave everything in English in my opinion, it's way cooler (my opinion), or at least more true to Tolkien's writings.

Well I really like the Dutch translation of the books (I read both English and Dutch), but I hate the way they translated the game... it's all a bit silly. The books though, they're really good in Dutch. Some of the translated names are brilliant. Anyway, RA will require an English installation, most likely.

Norwegian translated book is pretty good as well, and I quite enjoy playing the game in Norwegian too :good: To bad I mod, makes me use the English one for easier modding and the likes...

I agree about the Dutch translation of the books, I read that one first, but I kind of hate it when I see a Yeoman archer for example being translated as "Vrijboer met boog" xD

I'm sorry for the off-topic crap I wrote, but I just wanted to say that I do have a lot of respect for the translator (especially of the books), and for different opinions on what languages sound better or worse :good:

Would Khamul the easterling fly on a fell beast? btw he's the second commander of the Nazgul.

Well, the renders only show him on a horse and on foot, no fellbeasts. The Nazgul have been divided, there are the ones who can ride on a horse, and the ones who fly on a Fellbeast. Four Nagul get Fellbeasts, and the remaining four (including Khamul) have horses, with the Witch-king, he starts of with a horse, but can be upgraded to fellbeast

I hope you realize how overpowered it would be to field 9 Nazguls on fellbeasts at the same time ;)

Even Though the SEE mod hosts the Nine Riders, both on horse and on fellbeast. But yes, right you are Lauri, it would give Mordor an unfair advantage to have 9 fellbeasts all at once.

Plus, strangely enough, Mordor can get new horses to replace the dead ones ;)

I won't ask the forbidden question "when is it done?", but could a modder participating in this mod
tell us how much of the mod is already done in percents perhaps?
