@mike_: Not all of EA's models are horrible. It's the skins that make the difference in most cases - even the worst model can be made to look decent with a good skin .
Aye, couldn't agree more with that. Some models really have potential but get screwed due to strange Skin-concepts...
Although there are of course exceptions like the Mithlond Sentries. Here I really must admit, that your modell looks so much greater. ^^
Really nice work on the Mirkwoodelves, too. Thranduil really looks better now and the colour scheme from him, his son and the "unnamed elves" fit nicely to the shady Mirkwood.
And in my opinion the new Lorien Warriors sword looks fine. It reminds me of the Galadhrim swords in the movie, so it's a perfect elven blade. ^^

Like similar units in other mods, this guy is intended to replace the Ents as the Elves' siege unit. This will be my first time actually adding a new unit to the game, so it should be quite a learning experience . His main weapon will be throwing fireballs (probably blue-white) with all the range and power of a catapult. He will be as fast as a normal infantry unit, but will have quite low health and armor. As a result, he's quite vulnerable to...well, everything. Since he'll be an expensive unit, he has some abilities to help keep him alive. First, he has a heal power that also affects others. Second, he has a bubble-shield that renders him invulnerable, but also immobile. Third, he can release a burst of light that frightens enemies, allowing him to make a quick escape if things get ugly.

Because unfortunately, that option didn't occur to me until after I'd made the new one . Besides, I don't know exactly how the standard sword (and by that I assume you mean the BFME1 Elven Warrior one) is mapped, but I do know with this one .as far as the elven blade goes, it looks very similar to the standard elven sword... why not just use the one that's already made and maybe fatten it up a tad...?

The Ideas about "The NEW Siege UNIT" are hmm strange but good.Hes more like a hybrid from what you say .It's a siege unit and a Battlefield support unit (cause of healing and fear) .I think fireballs won't be too ... Elvish Lore ?!? , more like Lightbearers , so have the power of Gandalf with Starlight ?

Elves did use siege equipment, contrary to popular belief. How else would they lay a successful siege to Angband? Tolkien didn't intend to have an Elf spewing fireballs at the enemy be the substitution for the good old fashioned catapult. It seems that Noledhil/ Loremsaters/ Mage Siege is the only way to go, logically with the elves.

Well then, now you need to learn how to map things lol.Because unfortunately, that option didn't occur to me until after I'd made the new one .
I could in theory give you a easy mapped version of the sword, not too hard to do. it's mapped really funky by default, I always change it lol.

And I've changed the Loremasters' attack - they now fire bolts of blue-white light. These are not beams, but projectiles, as I wanted to keep them as siege units that can (and often do) miss their targets. The projectiles set units and the ground on fire. They're hard to describe, but I think they look pretty cool, so I'll try to post a video or at least some screens soon.

The base model is EA's Galadhrim. The bow, cloak, quiver, and long hair are taken from the cinematic Haldir model, and the pauldrons and vambraces are from CAH. The sword is the one I made for the Lorien Warriors. The skins are entirely from scratch, except for the photo face and the hair and boots, which I stole from EA skins.
These guys will be replacing the Noldor Warriors as the Elves' hero horde, while the Noldor will be nerfed slightly and relegated to a summon power replacing Tom Bombadil (that's what I want to do, anyway). Enjoy, and please comment !
