I can confirm that. The Balrog is AFAIK bug free in 4.6I think after 4.5 i gave the Balrog a major overhaul. All changes done to it that you have noticed where done while experimented with the AI. So, even though he has some bugs in 4.5, he should be employed in a much better fashion by the AI then before. The most current beta version should have a much better working Balrog.

Factions: Mordor vs. MotW (er, probably doesn't matter)
Unit: Neutral Fire Drakes.
Whenever I send a unit near any of the Fire Drakes (or at least ones in the upper right corner), they don't attack. Not in the slightest. Infact, I can't even attack them. I'm not sure about the other Fire drakes on the map (as I never did bother them), but i'm sure that those ones have a few problems.

Factions: Elves(me) vs Mordor
Unit: helms deep veterans
When my base was attacked the nazgul screeched and there were catapults firing at my archers and even after the fire and the enemies left were was still a few battalions of them huddled in fear, not healing despite being next to a well, not doing anything but being scared and this continued for about 20 mins for no apparent reason so i had to send the to die so i could recruit more:(

- What faction(s) was used?
- What units was involved, if any?
- What happened exactly when the bug was discovered?
- It happen in all maps (with an Inn)
- Men of the West
- Dunedain Rangers and Dwarven Veterans
- Every time I capture an Inn with MotW I can only recruit hobbits, elven elite and Dwarven VETERANS! No sign of any dunedain.
The point is, when my allies (elves and dwarves) capture that same Inn they recruit the dunedain units to their armies.
Is it a bug or the MotW are suposed to have the Dunedain just when they use the Summom power with SEE? Were they just replaced with Dwarves for Men?
- I can't buy the Dwarven Veterans also, it says: "Must have Armory or Forge". I build both of them (Gondor Blackmith and Rohan Armory) and I upgrade them with all the armor, banner stuff.... but I still can't have the dwarves =( It says "Forge or Armory missing"

- These are more texture errors than anything else... but I thought you guys would want to know.
The first one, as you can see, is something I'm not SURE of being a glitch or not - but considering that Shadowfax bore Gandalf for many ages... why does Gandalf the Grey's horse look the same as the royal family of Rohan's horses? This may be mere aesthetics or something but I thought I'd bring it up since Gandalf's button says 'summon shadowfax' and suddenly he's riding on a horse that is OBVIOUSLY not shadowfax.
The second on, I'm sure, is a glitch. Its either a model error or a texture error but either way its a problem since you can see THROUGH gandalfs hand if you look at him from behind.

this was on Tower Hills map
Mordor (me) + Isnegard vs. MoTW and Elves <- all AI on hard (the factions dont matter in this case because All of them displayed this bug)
The AI does not build Siege machines or the buildings associated with them on Hard difficulty, I'm not sure but I think that this can be extended to any map and any diffidulty other than Brutal. (I only played on hard once because i noticed this and I only wanted to play against opponents that can actually win)
Also on Tower Hills
and specifically the goblins as AI in this case (but i dont think that matters)
when the AI controlls a Balrog and decides to make him use his flight ability, he tends to fly backwards rather than turning around and then flying forwards.
This is on any map with the Elven faction as the AI- this is also an old one i remember from the last version, maybe even way back to vanille, but I dont ever remember any one bringing it up before so just in case I'm going to now.
when Gwahir comes under attack he tends to disappear from the game entirely and then reappear not to much later at full health.
This isn't quite a bug but I noticed that if you play on teams, atleast on Brutal difficulty, All opposing AI factions will focus almost entirely on you and completely ignore any team-mnates you have. Also your team-mate AI (on Brutal) does not actually do anything, it just kinda sits there a builds a few heroes ocassionally. So basically a 2x2 match is actually a 2x1 match. I'm not really sure if thats intentional as part of the overall difficulty though.
Edit: This isn't really a bug either but I noticed that the AI tends to save up rediculous amounts of resources for no apparent reason. For instance I was playing against the Dwarves and Isengard the other day and when I quite the game, not even at the end of the match when the AI was defeated, after about 40 minutes of game time the Dwarves had saved up 99,000 resources and Isengard saved up about 66,000 resources. This is on Brutal AI by the way.

This one I have observed on every map, it seems to be a permanent trail effect from flaming arrows shot from defensive towers, you can see it in the picture I uploaded.

On the new Camera icons where the powers show up with the icons camera angle 4 the 'ground view' icon appears then goes transparent sometimes or takes the icon for one off the powers like summon Balrog or earthquake.

Well the mumakils just charge into massed anything but the problem arises when the mumakil is about to hit someone. The fear effect kicks in but if the mumakil goes off to do something else then the units get permanent fear effects. Not really major but quite annoying.
