What happens when you attack the fort as any faction other than mordor then, and can't build grond?

The Valar had to nerf Dwarves, or we would of taken over the world before it even began... :D

Maybe he could code a way that makes Grond show up after x amount of minutes so that no player will have to deal with trying to break into an impenetrable fortress

that would be one of the easiest scripts:P
But what happens after Grond gets destroyed?;)
If Grond will be spawned again, it's boring, because the Players get always a present of 10 000 ressources.
I don't like the Idea. If the fortress is strong enough, it's good enough:P

Or leave it like it is, and have Minas Tirith just be another skirmish map? :scars:
Minas Tirith isn't really the easiest map to balance, no matter how you look at it xD

Perhaps it should be made a 5 player map and have it 1 vs. 4 instead of 1 vs. 3?

I'd go with make a grond that is invunerable and when the gate breaks down the grond just becomes completely inactive, or you just move it out of the screen like in the movie, or just make it self destruct

No, having a Grond available to every faction doesn't sound good. If you are not Mordor, take down the gate the same way you would a fortress: Lots of siege.

Yes you could see what would have happened if Minas Tirith would have been attacked by Isengard or maybe even Elves,any faction has the power to conquer MInasTirith

ANother Question will you be allowed to defend MInas Tirith with all factions??
And how do you win if you defend?I dont like it as its now,if you DEFEND Minas Tirith you dont have to destroy their Camp!

^ Perhaps get some scripting into the map where you have to last for a certain amount of time if you're defending, and maybe while attacking, before the Army of the Dead arrives...?

If you're defending MT, you are under seige. To stop the siege, you need to wipe out those attacking you and destroy the bases they set up around you. Makes perfect sense to me.

just dont script the map.

its more fun if you can attack Or defend your way and not depend on things like a incoming army of the dead or smth.

If this is suppose to be a skirmish map, why the hell make it impossible?
Isn't a SEE game usually lasting several hours?
The Army of the Dead is a big nono, IMO...

I agree fully with Matt... If the enemy is smart, he builds loads of siege weapons, to batter down the gate....
Make loads of Siege Works, create loads of Catapults, Trebuchets or other, rams, ect.... When your fully ready to siege them, it's already gone atleast an hour, I would guess... You need food for the enemy archers too :xcahik_: and first wave usually ain't succesful...

You guys do know that more than likely it'll be scripted for the campaign that S.E.E.'s planning on doing, right? So you'll actually have both the skirmish and campaign version. So, no biggie! :xcahik_:

Is anyone else having the problem of enemy soldiers going right through the walls in the corners of the entrance into the city? I know you said you had some problems with soldiers going through buildings, but the actual MT Walls?
